π¨My honest thoughts Man Utd 2-0 win against Sunderland.
β Manchester United make it three straight wins at Old Trafford and what a fitting way for Ruben Amorim to mark his 50th game in charge. Itβs been a long time since weβve seen the team win this comfortably. Amorim looks like a different man.. more composed, more flexible. Heβs finally embraced change instead of resisting it and the results are showing.
β Senne Lammensπ₯, what a debut! A clean sheet in his very first appearance and the teamβs first of the season, speaks volumes. Calm, confident, commanding. π§πͺπ
β Tactically, United were well-organized, operating in a medium block that shifted fluidly between 5-4-1, 5-3-2 β
and 4-4-2. The structure made us harder to break down, though you could still see moments where the front line wasnβt fully synchronized especially when pressing or closing central spaces. Still, the improvement was clear.
β The difference today came from Mount and Mbeumo. Both were brilliant constantly moving into half-spaces, creating passing options and dragging Sunderlandβs defenders deep into their own half. Their movement made Unitedβs attack much more unpredictable and fluid.
β If thereβs one thing we all agree on now: Lammens, de Ligt, Yoro, Amad, Mbeumo, and Sesko should be starting every single week.
β And Matthijs de Ligt? Heβs quietly building a serious case for Player of the Season already. πͺπ΄
β And letβs not forget Sesko is just one goal behind the βSwedish Dudeβ π€£, even though that guy had a full preseason and has started every single game! π€£ We honestly dodged a massive bullet not signing him, I swear π
