As a key element of our Inclusive Futures project funded by Engineers without Borders (EWB-Dk), we have on 14th November graduated 15 students from 3 departments as part of our exit program.
Across these 3 departments,
4 students from electronics
5 students from mMetal works/Blacksmith
2 students from Hairdressing/Cosmetology
4 students from Tailoring/Embroidery.
However, apart from being skilled, these students were further equiped in relevants trainings such as:
- Training in Business Management, vocational Behaviour and collaborative relationship fornstudents.
- Training in Educational Prepardness and University studies for students.
The event was very colourful. Students, parents and relatives were very excited.
Most of these graduants are looking forward to job opportunities whilst some are working towards establishing their own business or workshops.
Thank you EWB for the support. You are helping to make impossibilitues possible...

On Saturday, 8th November, OTC received a donation of 12 laptop computers, 6 smart TVs and 12 digital and multi testers from the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTI) under the Sierra Leone Digital Transformation Project, sponsored by the World Bank.
This is a move geared towards equiping citizens particularly youth, women, and differently Abled persons with marketable digital competencies.
Thank you the National Commission for Persons with Disability for the recommendation.

Our strategic plan development validation seminar has started today with stakeholders and partners in attendance. The OTC board chairman, students, and workshop leaders are also present.
It is quite lively already as OPD leaders are also in attendance.

Under the Inclusive features project, Engineers Without Borders, Denmark empoweres OTC with hand washing and sanitary material to fight against the mbox disease.

OTC in collaboration with the Ministry of Social, SLUDI, and partners yesterday (3rd December 2024), celebrated the International Day of Differently Abled Persons in Kenema District.
