Location: Afia Medical Complex, WBG / Wau
Position Type: Full-time
Afia Medical Complex is looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Wau. The successful candidate will ensure safe and effective dispensing of medications, provide patient counseling, and support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide guidance to patients on the correct use of medicines.
• Maintain proper storage, security, and stock management of drugs.
• Ensure compliance with medical and legal regulations.
• Support doctors and nurses with drug-related information.
• Keep accurate records of prescriptions and inventory.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Valid license/registration to practice as a pharmacist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of medications, dosage, and possible side effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
