Health Consequences of exclusive consumption of milk: A case study of Traditional fattening Competition among Jieng young men.

Dr James Maduok has been running a prospective survey among young competitors in the traditional fattening Competition held every summer by Jieng young men.

This practice has claimed uncountable number of young men and women since time immemorial in the Jieng land. The researcher has an experience in witnessing some of these events in his childhood. Dr Maduok's late father had been a participant of such competitions in his youthful days.

The results of this survey will be published in South Sudan Medical Journal.

Iron deficiency anemia due to high calcium levels, digestive issues like nausea and diarrhea, kidney stones from excessive calcium, protein loss, and a deficiency in other essential nutrients and fiber not present in milk, ultimately compromising overall health.

The above are the health Consequences associated with prolonged exclusive milk consumption. However, the survey has revealed something more shocking than the well known nutritional derangement.

More research is needed and this area of research is more interesting and it requires the national ministry of health to fund it.

The First Step Toward Your Healthiest Self

I used to think that being “healthy” meant a strict diet, daily gym sessions, and a perfectly calm mind. But if that were true, I’d have given up before I even began. The truth is, health isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection. It’s about learning to listen to your body, care for your mind, and take small, steady steps toward feeling better each day.

Holistic health means seeing yourself as a whole — not just a body to be trained or a mind to be quieted, but a living, breathing blend of thoughts, feelings, movement, and nourishment. When you start to care for both mind and body together, everything changes. Energy comes more easily. Sleep feels deeper. Even the little frustrations of the day seem easier to handle.

But here’s the secret: you don’t have to change everything at once.
Take one step.
Drink a glass of water in the morning before your coffee.
Stretch your arms and breathe deeply for one minute before you check your phone.
Go for a short walk after dinner instead of scrolling on the couch.

These tiny choices may not feel like much in the moment, but over time they build a foundation of health that’s steady and strong.

And when you stumble — because we all do — don’t call it failure. Call it life. Health isn’t a finish line you cross; it’s a path you walk every day. Some days you’ll wander off, and that’s okay. What matters is that you keep coming back.

Your body is ready to thank you for the small kindnesses you give it. Your mind is ready to meet you in stillness. And your future self is ready to look back and say, “I’m so glad we started.”

Start small. Start gently. Start today.
