A 82-year-old woman in Egypt came to the hospital believing she had a painful stomach tumor. However, scans revealed something extraordinary, she had been carrying a calcified fetus for more than 40 years.

The condition, known as lithopedion or “stone baby,” occurs when a fetus dies during pregnancy and becomes calcified instead of decomposing. Doctors explained that her body encased the fetus in calcium to prevent infection.

Lithopedion is among the rarest medical conditions in the world, with fewer than 300 documented cases throughout history.

🎤Ovulation cervical mucus EXPLAINED.🎤 Did you know your body gives you natural signs when you’re most fertile? One of the clearest is your cervical mucus during ovulation.

At this time, the discharge becomes clear, stretchy, and slippery, just like raw egg white. This is your body’s smart way of making it easier for s***m to swim and meet the egg. 💧➡️👶

So, anytime you notice this type of mucus, it’s your body’s way of saying:
👉 “Hey, this is your peak fertile window!”

Ladies, always pay attention, your body is speaking to youđź’›

To the Caesarean Section mama,

I hope you remember during the session , do you know why the surgeon (s) was telling you stories; about random things, about their day, about anything but the fact that you were lying there wide awake while life was being lifted from your body.

They knew. They knew it was scary. They knew the weight of that moment. They knew your mind needed somewhere else to go , anywhere but the sharp brightness of that room.

They knew silence would be too heavy.

So they gave you words to hold on to. Fragments of stories to keep your mind from drowning in the moment.

And still, you felt every tug of courage inside you. Every second of waiting for that cry.

Mama, you don’t owe anyone a neat version of that moment. You don’t have to dress it up to make anyone understand. The raw truth is enough. Because what you did was enough.

That was where your love proved just how far it will go y. And now, every time you trace that scar, I hope you remember , this is where my courage and my baby met.

And if remembering makes you cry, let it. Some stories are too holy to tell without tears.

Love,
From a Caesarean Section mama

Respect to women. THINGS MOTHERS GO THROUGH TO BEAR A CHILD…

This is Epidural needle….

An epidural injection is a procedure where medication is injected into the spinal nerves to relieve pain during childbirth (cesarean section )

Epidural Anesthesia numbs the area to block pain signals to the brain, commonly used during labor, surgery or after surgery

Epidural injection can provide effective pain relief but potential side effects and risk include bleeding, infection, nerves damage etc.

This is what most women go through just to bring life , yet we still Question“ what do women bring to the table“

Women are the most powerful human on earth….

A Nigerian-born surgeon, Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye, made global headlines when he performed one of the most extraordinary surgeries in modern medicine. At just 23 weeks of pregnancy, a baby was partially taken out of the womb so doctors could remove a life-threatening tumor. After the surgery, the baby was carefully placed back inside the mother’s womb, where it continued to grow until birth.

The groundbreaking operation, performed at Texas Children’s Hospital in the USA, saved the baby’s life and is considered a milestone in fetal surgery.

🦷 Humans may soon regrow lost teeth!

A team of doctors in Japan has developed a groundbreaking drug that could allow people to naturally grow a brand-new tooth.

Instead of relying on dentures or implants, this treatment activates the body’s own ability to produce another set of teeth. The research is led by Dr. Katsu Takahashi at Kitano Hospital’s Medical Research Institute. His team discovered that by blocking a protein called USAG-1—which normally prevents extra teeth from forming—they could trigger tooth growth. In experiments with mice, the treatment worked successfully. Now, human clinical trials are being prepared, with hopes of making the therapy available by 2030.

Scientists believe humans may still have hidden “third set” tooth buds, just waiting to be switched on. This idea is inspired by animals like sharks and elephants, which naturally replace their teeth throughout life. Combined with advances in dental tissue and bone regeneration, researchers are confident that reversing tooth loss biologically is within reach.

If all goes well, the next decade could make tooth regrowth a real option for millions of people who lose teeth due to age, injury, or disease.

Have you seen a case where the umbilical cord passes through the cervix into the va**na before the baby?

It’s called umbilical cord prolapse

We know it’s the umbilical cord that connects the baby to the placenta.

Sometimes when water breaks during pregnancy, the umbilical cord can slip through the cervix into the va**na before the baby.

When this happens, the baby can put pressure on the cord as it passes through the cervix and va**na during labor and delivery.

Pressure on the cord reduces or stops blood flow from the placenta to the baby, decreasing the baby's oxygen supply.

This can lead to the death of the baby if it’s not delivered ASAP

Sometimes it’s possible to reposition the cord to prevent blood supply cut off, other times it's not.

The longer it takes for this problem to be dealt with, the higher the chances of your baby having problems such as brain damage or even death.

Delivery is usually by cesarean section. If you refuse a cesarean section, you should know that you will very likely be pushing out a dead baby ,should you deliver va**nally.

The risk of the umbilical cord passing into your va**na before time increases when :
Your baby is in a breech position

When your baby's umbilical cord is too long

When you have too much water around your baby

When your baby is born preterm

When you deliver twins va**nally.
The second twin is usually affected.

When your water is broken in the hospital - your doctor or midwife who breaks your water is supposed to examine you to make sure the umbilical cord is not in your va**na

Umbilical cord prolapse is an emergency and needs to be dealt with very quickly.

Your doctor or midwife will keep their hand in your va**na to keep your baby's cord from being compressed.

(We had a case like that and I had to keep my hand there until the theater was set and we moved her to the theater)

You might also be put in specific positions to help keep blood flow to your baby.

If your water breaks and you happen to feel something in your va**na, you should get to the hospital ASAP as this can either be your baby's umbilical cord or any of its body parts.

You might save your baby's life by doing so.
