SHAMMED has been established at Damascus/Syria in the year 2005 as a distinguished provider of medical equipment. Being well connected to leading companies which provide cutting-edge technology in a variety of medical fields, like lithotripsy, distractor, operating sealing lights….etc, the founder of SHAMMED recognized the urgent demand of such service in Syria.

Starting as provider of medical equipment and products for private clinics and hospitals, SHAMMED soon gained its reputation as one of the leading companies in this sector by delivering turnkey projects for major hospitals all over Syria.

SHAMMED is acting as a distributor with the position of General Agent in Syria for many international manufacturing companies like: "STORZ MEDICAL, Dialife, KLS martin"

Owing to this philosophy, SHAMMED had been able to acquire a significant share of the Syrian market by 2010. Our constant expansion in the market is driven by our expanding distribution network that covers all Syria with offices in the major cities.

Beginning 2013, SHAMMED broadened its activities by offering technical equipment for production and quality control to the pharmaceutical industry.
