Chersery Home International receives donation of “Robotic Gait Training System” — advancing equal access to rehabilitation for all Thais
⸻
Bangkok — Chersery Home International Hospital for the Elderly and Rehabilitation Center
has received a Robotic Gait Training System from the family of Mr. Wint and khun Thut Phetaybanlue
to support Thailand’s mission in advancing accessible, high-quality neurorehabilitation for all —
particularly for patients with neurological, movement, or motor impairment conditions —
allowing them to benefit from world-class robotic therapy at an affordable cost.
⸻
Elevating neurorehabilitation access…
for a “new life that walks again”
This donation represents a key milestone in Chersery Home International’s mission to promote equality in healthcare access.
The robotic gait system will be used for the rehabilitation of both children and elderly patients with mobility limitations caused by stroke, spinal cord injury, or neurological disorders, helping them regain movement and independence.
This innovation enables patients to undergo safe, continuous, and effective rehabilitation,
especially during the crucial first 3–6 months following injury — the “golden period” for recovery.
⸻
“Restore walking ability, dignity, and quality of life.”
Dr. Gengpong Tangaroonsanti,
Director of Chersery Home International Hospital for the Elderly and Rehabilitation Center,
expressed gratitude for the donation, saying:
“We are deeply moved by the generosity and compassion of the donor family,
whose vision ensures that every Thai — regardless of financial status —
can access advanced rehabilitation technology.
This gift gives patients a chance to walk again and live with dignity.
It’s not only a life-changing contribution but also an inspiration
that reflects the power of compassion and social responsibility.”
⸻
Affordable, high-quality rehabilitation services
Under this initiative, Chersery Home International will launch a special-rate robotic gait training program
for patients requiring neurorehabilitation. Each treatment plan will be designed individually
by a multidisciplinary team — including rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, and specialized nurses —
to ensure optimal recovery outcomes within a shorter timeframe.
