Here’s a little of the story behind how Flex came to life. ⬇️

9 years ago, after a life-changing spinal injury, I was learning how to move again. It was slow and testing, and it taught me a kind of resilience one could only learn by going through it.

6 years ago, I began creating the space I wished I had during my own recovery. A place where people can rediscover what they’re capable of… and learn to celebrate it. And that’s where the name ‘Flex Your Abilities’ comes from.

Flex didn’t appear overnight, nor was it built from a business plan. It grew quietly, from lived experience, from study, and from a deep belief that movement can empower you and change the way you experience yourself and life.

My approach is shaped by my training in rehabilitation and movement science, and by the years I spent applying that knowledge to myself.

There’s more to this than I can fit into a caption, but this is a glimpse into the heart behind what I do, and why this space exists at all.
