As children learn to navigate social relationships, friend trouble is almost unavoidable, whether on a small or large scale, and whether or not parents and teachers know about it. Teaching children early on about what healthy friendships look like can be crucial. In this BAMBI article we talk about common forms of toxic friendships, identifying them, and being there for your children as they navigate this stage of childhood.

🌱 Happy World Mental Health Day!

This year’s theme is “access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies”. Many people experienced intense fear and anxiety due to the earthquake in Bangkok earlier this year, and our team provided critical incident support to those who needed it. However, there are likely many who were unable to access mental health care during that time, or during other times of need. Mental health services should be accessible, something very relevant to Thailand as we continue to grow in mental health awareness.

We encourage everyone to take care of your mental health just as you would your physical health, both in times of crisis and on ordinary days. 💙

🌱 สุขสันต์วันสุขภาพจิตโลก!

หัวข้อของปีนี้คือ “การเข้าถึงบริการ – สุขภาพจิตในภาวะภัยพิบัติและเหตุฉุกเฉิน” มีหลายๆคนที่รู้สึกกลัวและวิตกกังวลอย่างรุนแรงจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวในกรุงเทพเมื่อต้นปีที่ผ่านมา นักจิตบำบัดของเราได้ให้การสนับสนุนด้านเหตุการณ์วิกฤตแก่ผู้ที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือ อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีอีกหลายคนที่อาจไม่สามารถเข้าถึงการดูแลด้านสุขภาพจิตได้ในตนนั้น หรือในตอนที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือเวลาอื่นๆ บริการด้านสุขภาพจิตควรเป็นสิ่งที่ทุกคนเข้าถึงได้ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องสำคัญอย่างยิ่งสำหรับประเทศไทยในขณะที่เรากำลังพัฒนาความตระหนักรู้ด้านสุขภาพจิตมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ
