Dear ASIS Thailand Chapter Members,

We are pleased to announce our upcoming Chapter Meeting on Thursday 31 July and look forward to sharing updates and reconnecting with the community.

Across Asia, the use of drones in criminal activity is rapidly growing, from cross-border smuggling to surveillance of high-value targets. We have seen how drones have shifted the landscape in global conflicts, and bad actors in the region are taking note.
As security professionals, how do we stay ahead and protect our people, facilities, and operations from these evolving threats? Join us to explore this timely topic and connect with fellow professionals over food and drinks.

**REMINDER**

If you have not filled out the survey, please do so. And those who plan to attend the networking event this Thursday and have not yet RSVP'd, please do so.

As an important reminder, the below survey is an important tool we will use to improve our chapter and our offerings

To help encourage participation, all who submit a completed survey will be eligible for a raffle, with the winner receiving a 500 baht Starbucks gift card. The raffle will be conducted at the next networking function.

The networking event is this Thursday, July 25th. The location is Scruffy Murphy's Pub on Sukhumvit soi 23. We will plan to meet at 5:30pm and all are invited to stay as long as they like. We will have a large table reserved.

As a reminder, our networking events do not include any formalities and will not be hosted by the Thailand Chapter.

The meet up on Thursday:

1. If entering Thonglor from Petchburi road, please U-turn next to Camilian Hospital. After the U-turn, please stay on the left lane to enter the Saphan 55 parking lot. Do not get on the bridge/overpass.

2. If entering Thonglor from Sukhumvit road, keep going straight. Please stay on the left lane to enter the Saphan 55 parking lot. Do not get on the bridge/overpass.

ASIS International Thailand Chapter members and friends,

The next ASIS International Thailand Chapter meeting will be held on Thursday, June 27th.

The venue is:
Saphan 55 Cafe
759 Sukhumvit soi 55.

We will kick things off at 6pm.

For this meeting, we are honored to welcome our newest sponsor and speaker for the evening, Verkada. They have been kind enough to sponsor our June meeting, and will provide an exciting presentation entitled: Utilizing Cloud Computing For Your CCTV Needs.

ASIS International Thailand Chapter members and friends,

I hope this message finds all of you well, and hopefully the oppressive heat in Bangkok is slowly coming to an end.

For those that were unable to attend our March chapter meeting, the ASIS Committee announced the plans for chapter meetings this year. We will have chapter meetings and networking events throughout 2024. The chapter meetings will follow our usual pattern of inviting quality speakers, sharing intelligence and current situational awareness amongst members, and finish with networking and socializing.

The newly established networking events will entail the ASIS Committee selecting a location and inviting all members to join. These events will not include any formalities and will not be hosted by the Thailand Chapter. Feedback from members has shown that chapter members are looking for these informal events to supplement the formal meetings as a way to network, meet new colleagues and old friends, without the need for a monthly formal meeting.

The Thailand Chapter of ASIS International is organizing the first networking event for Thursday, May 30th. The location is Scruffy Murphy's Pub on Sukhumvit soi 23. We will plan to meet at 5:30pm and all are invited to stay as long as they like. We will have a large table reserved.
