On November 6, 2025, the Division of Neurosurgery, Siriraj Hospital hosted the MOU ceremony with Dr. Cheol Wung Park, President of Daejeon Woori Hospital, to establish the Endoscopic Spine Surgery Collaboration between the two institutions.
The Neurospine team of Siriraj Neurosurgery, led by Associate Professor Akkapong Nitising, Assistant Professor Luckchai Phonwijit, and Dr. Songrit Vuttipongkul, will send the team members to participate in clinical training programs at Daejeon Woori Hospital.
This collaboration aims to further develop Endoscopic Spine Surgery at Siriraj Hospital, strengthening its role as one of Thailand’s leading centers in the field.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Cheol Wung Park for his kind visit and his dedication to this collaboration.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Adjunct Associate Professor Pornpavit Sripirom, whose support made this collaboration possible.
We were honored by the presence of Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, join us in person to sign the MOU, together with Clinical Professor Chanean Ruangsetakit, Chairman, Department of Surgery, and Associate Professor Prajak Srirabheebhat, Chairman, Division of Neurosurgery.

This MOU marks an important milestone in the ongoing mission of Siriraj Neurosurgery to advance education, research, and innovation in Endoscopic Spine Surgery for the benefit of patients in Thailand and around the world.
