🧮 Women in 7-year cycles, Men in 8-year cycles

Women change every 7 years, men every 8 years.
The peak of life is Women at 28, Men at 32 — Do you agree?”
Ancient Chinese medicine wisdom from over 2,000 years ago — still reflecting real life today.
📖 In the Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine), it is written:
👩 Women → the body changes every 7 years
👨 Men → the body changes every 8 years
🔢 Cycles of Bodily Change
Cycle 1
👩 Age 7 → Baby teeth fall, hair grows longer, Kidney Qi begins to flourish
👨 Age 8 → Permanent teeth appear, body strengthens, Kidney Qi matures
Cycle 2
👩 Age 14 → Tian Gui arrives, menstruation begins, fertility starts
👨 Age 16 → Tian Gui arrives, deeper voice, facial hair, fertility begins
Cycle 3
👩 Age 21 → Body fully developed, strong bones, complete teeth
👨 Age 24 → Body reaches maturity, tendons and bones are strong
Cycle 4 (Peak)
👩 Age 28 → Radiant skin, peak beauty, best fertility
👨 Age 32 → Strong muscles, peak vitality and strength
✨ Considered the “prime of physical life.”
Cycle 5
👩 Age 35 → Yangming channel weakens, duller skin, hair loss begins
👨 Age 40 → Kidney Qi declines, hair loss, teeth weaken
Cycle 6
👩 Age 42 → Three Yang channels decline, face turns sallow, white hair appears
👨 Age 48 → Yang Qi weakens, dull complexion, white hair
Cycle 7
👩 Age 49 → Ren and Chong channels weaken, Tian Gui ends, menstruation stops → menopause
👨 Age 56 → Liver Qi declines, tendons weaken, mobility becomes limited
Cycle 8
👩 (Ends at 49 years old) → Major life cycles complete after menopause
👨 Age 64 → Kidney Qi exhausted, teeth fall, hair thins, reproductive ability ends
🌿 Why it still feels “wow” today
Even though this was written more than 2,000 years ago, it still mirrors the life cycle we see now:
Childhood → Teenage years → Peak adulthood → Midlife decline → Menopause & aging transition.
