1.5 years ago, I hadn’t been regularly on social media for 7 years.

I didn’t have the right strategies, what to say, or who I was even talking to.

Last month to 2026

How has your business been doing so far?

This year hasn’t been easy — at least for me and many people that I know.

I took time to grieve.

Grieving with anger that help wasn’t available to the people who needed the most.

Grieving the loss of lives and the uncertainty of not knowing what will come next.

Grieving to the part that never feel enough no matter how hard I try.

And yet, because I’m allowing the grief, I’m also accepting the fact of life.

That life will never be predictable and it’s never about fairness.

That it’s okay to never feel enough. Because even if I do more, it wouldn’t change how I feel — so I’d rather accept it and do my best in a way that feels right for me.

And I rest, I cried and took time off for myself.

If you feel a lot to what’s going on around the world right now, I think it’s brave to feel and not denying it.

And it’s also brave to know when it’s time to come back to take care of yourself too.

You deserve it.
No explanation needed.
You know you did your best.

Unexpected miracle.

I found it difficult to focus on work because of what happened in the South of Thailand. I noticed foreigners have received very little news about what’s going on and I knew I wanted to do something about it.

When I decided to ask people to drop things off and I’ll help coordinate, honestly at first I don’t know how to make it happen.

But I think I’ll figure out.

And miracle happens.

When K. PondPond PetDriver posted that he will be going South, I called him to ask for help and he said YES right away.

I received so much support from the pawrents group in the condo where I’m staying.

K.Pond will also be going South to be a volunteer himself.

K.Pond is trusted pet driver with super clean car. He can deliver your pets off anywhere in Thailand. (He delivered Kaki to Koh Phangan for me before.)

I once hired two managers who had zero experience that matched the job description. Six months later, they became the “shining stars” among their peers in other countries who had far more direct skills.

In another e-commerce business I set up with my sister, we hired a 40+ year-old woman who didn’t know how to use a computer. (In the middle of the decision, we debate around whether she will be too old to learn computer literacy.)

A year later, she became a pro with technology (and even we are amazed with how far she has come).

I personally think you don’t need to hire the most expensive headcount with long achievement lists to be your talent.

You only need to know how to spot the ‘right’ people for ‘your’ company.
Sometimes, your ‘right’ people are right in front of you.

You might just need to know how to motivate them so they start rising to be the best version of themselves.

And you don’t need to have complicated system or pay for the personality test to find your match.

What you need could be as simple as well-crafted, strategic conversation your employee to be a talent that you can start implementing right away.

Isn’t that great to have a right hand who will be there to support you so that you can have your personal life back?
