"IPD Pharmacist"
The IPD Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, accurate, and timely dispensing services for inpatient medication orders. This role ensures the highest standards of medication management, patient safety, and collaboration with healthcare teams to support optimal clinical outcomes.
🔹 Job Description
Medication Management
1. Review, verify, and process inpatient medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and safety.
2. Prepare and dispense medications according to hospital policies and pharmacy standards.
3. Monitor medication therapy to identify potential drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications.
Clinical Support
1. Provide medication-related recommendations to physicians and nurses.
2. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds when required.
3. Counsel patients or caregivers on medication use upon discharge.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
1. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and pharmacy best practices.
2. Support medication reconciliation and documentation activities.
3. Participate in medication error prevention, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
Inventory & Operational Support
1. Oversee stock levels of inpatient medications and controlled substances.
2. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and management of medications.
3. Coordinate with pharmacy team members to maintain efficient IPD operations.
🔹 Qualification
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.
Professional Pharmacist License (Thai Pharmacy Council).
2. Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred (new graduates are also welcome).
3. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapy, and inpatient medication processes.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
5. Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and service-minded attitude.
6. Good communication skills; basic English proficiency is a plus. TOEIC score ≥ 500. (additional allowance provided for qualified scores under hospital policy)
