Dr. Supasid Jirawatnotai (Dr.Add), a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, specialized in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, has been practicing as a plastic surgeon since 2012. His cases involve patients who suffered from head and neck deformities, injuries, physical disfigurements, and also significant number of cosmetic cases. สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ผมมีโอกาสเข้าร่วม การประชุมประจำปีครั้งที่ 35 ของสมาคมศัลยแพทย์ตกแต่งแห่งประเทศไทย และสมาคมศัลยแพทย์เสริมสวยแห่งประเทศไทย ที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

ในครั้งนี้ ผมได้รับเกียรติให้เป็นหนึ่งในผู้บรรยาย ในหัวข้อ “ศัลยกรรมตกแต่งสำหรับผู้ป่วยเส้นประสาทใบหน้า” ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในสาขาความเชี่ยวชาญหลักของผม นอกเหนือจากงานด้านศัลยกรรมตกแต่งและเสริมความงาม

รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติและยินดีอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ร่วมแบ่งปันองค์ความรู้ แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ และเรียนรู้ร่วมกับเพื่อนร่วมวิชาชีพครับ

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the 35th Annual Meeting of the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Thailand and the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons of Thailand 2025, held in Chiang Mai.

โบท็อกซ์กับการฟื้นฟูอาการหลัง Bell’s palsy : เรื่องจริงที่คุณควรรู้

ช่วงนี้หลายคนอาจเห็นข่าวเกี่ยวกับ “ฉีดโบท็อกซ์แล้วหน้าเบี้ยว” จนเกิดความกังวลใจ ทำให้ผู้ที่กำลังพิจารณาการฉีดโบท็อกซ์ โดยเฉพาะผู้ป่วยที่เคยมีภาวะอัมพาตใบหน้าเฉียบพลัน (Bell’s palsy) รู้สึกลังเล ไม่กล้าตัดสินใจ

ในฐานะแพทย์ที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้อยู่เป็นประจำ ผมอยากอธิบายให้ชัดเจนว่า การฉีดโบท็อกซ์ (Botulinum toxin) เป็นหนึ่งในเครื่องมือที่เราใช้เพื่อช่วยฟื้นฟูอาการเหล่านี้ โดยออกฤทธิ์คลายกล้ามเนื้อที่ตึงเกร็ง ลดการดึงรั้งของกล้ามเนื้อใบหน้า และช่วยให้การเคลื่อนไหวของใบหน้าดูสมดุลและเป็นธรรมชาติมากขึ้น สำหรับผู้ที่เคยเป็น Bell’s palsy หลังอาการเฉียบพลันดีขึ้นแล้ว หลายคนยังมีปัญหาใบหน้าขยับไม่เท่ากัน กล้ามเนื้อเกร็ง หรือเคลื่อนไหวผิดจังหวะ ซึ่งนอกจากจะกระทบต่อการใช้ชีวิตประจำวันแล้ว ยังทำให้ความมั่นใจลดลงด้วย การได้รับการรักษาที่เหมาะสม จะช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยมีความมั่นใจขึ้นและมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นหลังการรักษา

อย่างไรก็ตาม โบท็อกซ์ไม่ใช่การรักษาหลักของ Bell’s palsy แต่เป็นการรักษาเสริมในระยะฟื้นฟูเท่านั้น และต้องได้รับการประเมินอย่างละเอียดเป็นรายบุคคล รวมถึงฉีดโดยแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญและใช้ยาที่มีมาตรฐาน เพื่อให้ผลลัพธ์ออกมาปลอดภัยและเป็นธรรมชาติ
