📣 Introducing Chiang Mai Volunteer Group #357! 🌟

Starting their programs in mid-November, Group #357 brought together five inspiring participants from the United States, Israel, the UK, and France.

This diverse team immersed themselves in three of our impactful community-focused projects:

📣Introducing Friends for Asia Foundation Volunteer Group #356! 🌟

Earlier this month, we were excited to host Group #356, a team of five enthusiastic participants from Germany and the United States.

This group jumped into three of our most hands-on and culturally rich projects:

These participants took part in our Medical Internship and Children's Home Volunteer Project, diving into hands-on learning, cultural exchange, and meaningful engagement with local healthcare professionals.

🌟Exciting Medical Internship Program for High School Students Interested in becoming a doctor - The Doctor Follows Program!

👩‍⚕️Our early-January Doctor Follows Program in Phuket still has a few spots left! This is our first-ever session in Phuket, running from 3rd–10th January, and students will spend five days shadowing doctors across multiple hospitals.

📄The program is entirely in English, and participants will receive signed certificates from each hospital upon successful completion. Spots are filling fast—our session is already half full, including an alumna from our Bangkok summer program!

🌟They will be contributing to two of our key programs: the Medical Internship, where participants observe and learn in local hospitals, and the Children’s Home Project, where they support daily activities and education for young people.

🌏Though a smaller group of just four amazing participants, they brought together cultures and perspectives from Italy, Spain, Germany, and the UK.

😀Over the course of their program, they contributed their time and talents in three meaningful projects:

Teaching Monks Project – helping young monks strengthen their English and communication skills.

📣The Summer of 2025 is now officially finished for us at the Friends for Asia Foundation. Over the past few months, we’ve proudly hosted seven incredible student groups in our Doctor Follows Program and Engineering Immersion Program.

🌟From observing doctors and nurses in hospitals across multiple provinces, to exploring the behind-the-scenes work of engineers on major infrastructure projects, these students have gained hands-on experiences, asked insightful questions, and forged memories that will last a lifetime.

🙏A big thank you to the hospitals, engineering firms, and professionals who welcomed our students and shared their expertise. And of course, congratulations to all our participants for their curiosity, dedication, and energy throughout the summer.
