เก่งมาก vs. ดีมาก

🎯 The Difference (Very Simple)
✔ “Dee mak” = Very good (the result is good)
✔ “Geng mak” = Very skilled (the ability is good)
📌 Easy examples you can remember
⭐ 1) Homework / Exercise

ดีมาก (dee mak) → the result is good

“You got everything correct — very good!”

เก่งมาก (geng mak) → the ability is good

“You understand so fast — you’re very skilled!”

⭐ 2) Cooking

ดีมาก → the food tastes good

“This tastes great — very good!”

เก่งมาก → the person has cooking skill

1) ที่ทำงาน (têe-tam-ngaan)

= สถานที่ / อาคาร / ออฟฟิศ ที่เราไปทำงาน
English: workplace / office
ตัวอย่าง:

ฉันถึง ที่ทำงาน แล้ว → I’ve arrived at the workplace.

2) ทำงาน (tam-ngaan)

= กริยา หมายถึง “ทำงาน / work / do your job”
English: to work
ตัวอย่าง:

วันนี้ฉันต้อง ทำงาน → I have to work today.

3) งาน (ngaan)

= คำนาม หมายถึง “งาน / job / task / duty / event”
English: job / task / product / event
ตัวอย่าง:

ฉันมี งาน เยอะมาก → I have a lot of work (tasks).

Both นานเท่าไหร่ and นานแค่ไหน mean “how long”, and Thai people use them interchangeably — but there’s a tiny nuance in tone.

✔️ นานเท่าไหร่

Slightly more neutral / standard

Common in both speaking and writing

Safe to use in any context

Example:
คุณรอ นานเท่าไหร่ แล้ว?
How long have you been waiting?

✔️ นานแค่ไหน

Sounds a bit more casual / conversational

Very natural in daily speech

Example:
จะใช้เวลา นานแค่ไหน?
