MFU Wellness Center ต้อนรับคณะ Souphanouvong University, Lao PDR เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านสุขภาพในภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง

วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ศูนย์บริการสุขภาพแบบครบวงจรแห่งภาคเหนือและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (MFU Wellness Center) ให้การต้อนรับ รองศาสตราจารย์ วิระ อาโนลัก อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยสุภานุวงศ์ พร้อมคณะผู้บริหารจากสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและการพัฒนาศักยภาพร่วมกันในหลายมิติ การประชุมหารือครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญด้านการพัฒนา อาทิ การพัฒนาศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านการท่องเที่ยว การบูรณาการเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและระบบ AI การพัฒนาหลักสูตรร่วม การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร ตลอดจนการสนับสนุนทุนระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา เพื่อเสริมสร้างกำลังคนคุณภาพในอนาคต นอกจากนี้ยังได้หารือด้านสมาร์ทเกษตรและการพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการ ซึ่งล้วนเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในภูมิภาค
หนึ่งในหัวข้อที่ได้รับความสนใจเป็นพิเศษคือ ความร่วมมือด้านศูนย์สุขภาพ ซึ่งสะท้อนบทบาทสำคัญของ MFU Wellness Center ในฐานะหน่วยงานที่มุ่งยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและสุขภาวะของประชาชนทุกช่วงวัย ผ่านการให้บริการวิชาการและบริการด้านสุขภาพที่ได้มาตรฐาน ภายหลังการหารือ คณะผู้แทนได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ภายใน MFU Wellness Center โดยมีพนักงานให้การต้อนรับและบรรยายข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการบริการ อาทิ แผนกบริการสุขภาพ ศูนย์ตรวจสุขภาพ คลินิกผิวหนังและความงาม และศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬาและสุขภาพ ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจอย่างมากจากคณะผู้มาเยือน
การเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญที่ตอกย้ำบทบาทของ MFU Wellness Center ในฐานะศูนย์กลางบริการสุขภาพและวิชาการด้านสาธารณสุขของภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง พร้อมเดินหน้าส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านสุขภาพระหว่างไทย–ลาว เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต การเรียนรู้ และความร่วมมืออย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 3: การมีสุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (Good Health and Well-being) ซึ่งมุ่งยกระดับมาตรฐานการดูแลสุขภาพและส่งเสริมสุขภาวะของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ SDG 17: การเป็นหุ้นส่วนเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Partnerships for the Goals) ที่เน้นการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและศูนย์บริการสุขภาพ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาร่วมกันในระดับภูมิภาค สู่อนาคตที่ยั่งยืนของประชาชนในลุ่มน้ำโขงต่อไป
MFU Wellness Center Welcomes Delegation from Souphanouvong University, Lao PDR, to Strengthen Health Collaboration in the Mekong Region

27 November 2025, The MFU Wellness Center, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) – warmly welcomed Assoc. Prof. Vira Anolac Rector of Souphanouvong University, along with his executive delegation from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The visit aimed to explore academic collaboration and joint capacity-building initiatives across various areas of development.
The meeting covered a wide range of key topics, including the development of a Center of Excellence in Tourism, the integration of information technology and AI systems, joint curriculum development, student and staff exchanges, as well as scholarship support for graduate studies to foster high-quality human resources in the future. Discussions also included smart agriculture and entrepreneurial development—core components that contribute to sustainable regional growth.
A major highlight of the visit was the discussion on health center collaboration, which underscores the pivotal role of the MFU Wellness Center as a leading institution dedicated to improving quality of life and promoting well-being for people of all ages. The center provides both academic services and standardized health services to the public. After the meeting, the delegation toured various units within the MFU Wellness Center, where staff members introduced the center’s diverse services, including the Health Care Department, Health Check-up Center, Skin and Aesthetic Clinic, and the Sports & Health Service Center. The visit generated strong interest and positive engagement from the delegation.
This visit marked another important milestone reaffirming the MFU Wellness Center’s role as a regional hub for health services and public health academic development in the Mekong region. It further strengthens collaborative efforts between Thailand and Laos to enhance quality of life, learning opportunities, and long-term sustainable health development.
The collaboration also aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, which aims to improve health standards and promote well-being for people in both countries; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which highlights the importance of building strong networks between educational institutions and health service centers to jointly drive regional development. This partnership serves as a strong foundation for advancing health cooperation and educational development between Thailand and Laos, contributing to a sustainable and prosperous future for communities across the Mekong region.
