Our Story

Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin is the first medical facility of the west part of Thailand under the ownership and management of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services PLC. BDMS is the leader of private healthcare providers of Thailand who owns private hospitals throughout the country and abroad. Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, the 20th hospital in the network, was officially open on April 6th, 2011. The hospital has modern medical equipment and state-of-the-art laboratory unit in a 5-storeyed building with roof-top helipad, 60 patient beds and 14 ICU beds capable. It is located on 20,000 square meter-plots with 255-car parking space on Phetchakasem Road in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. Global Expertise. Thai Hospitality. Stages of Operation In late 2010, the Emergency Department of Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin will provide care for accidents and emergencies twenty-four hours a day. The E.R. will be equipped with the most modern technology and staffed by specialist emergency doctors. Observation beds will be available so that patients who require lengthy treatment can be made comfortable while being carefully observed. In early 2011, our Outpatient Department will open with clinics in all major areas of medicine, including family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), general and orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, women’s health care, ophthalmology, rehabilitation and dentistry. An Annual Check-up Department will offer attractively priced check-ups for general health and specialized medical areas such as cardiology. By mid-2011, our Inpatient Department will open with fifty inpatient beds. Each patient will be given a comfortable, attractive, private (one-person) room. We will have a flexible policy towards visiting patients in the hospital, and each room is equipped with a sleeper sofa so that family members or friends can stay overnight. Bangkok Hospital is known for its advanced medical technology. Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin will likewise feature state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment tools operated by experienced technicians. Interpretation of the testing will be done on-site, and our specialists will have the advantage of being able to obtain added opinions from their colleagues in Bangkok. The hospital laboratory will be equipped to perform blood and other tests quickly and accurately. N.Health, an associated company, will provide consultative and quality assurance advice, and has the ability to perform highly sophisticated tests in their Bangkok lab. Our pharmacy will be stocked with all necessary medications, and our staff of trained pharmacists will help you understand how and when to take your medications. In the event that a patient needs to be transferred to our Bangkok facility, our state-of-the-art ambulance and mobile CCU service is on-hand to move patients safely and efficiently. Helicopter transfers are also available via the rooftop helipad. Throughout the network, Bangkok Hospital has gained extensive experience in dealing with overseas Insurance companies. Our staff of service professionals will assist you each step of the way in contacting your insurance company and ascertaining your coverage. For your convenience, our concierge service will help make arrangements if you are flying-in or coming long distances for care.
