We are surrounded by jungle ,turquoise water and tropical vibes ,but the real good energy is created for the people that decide to go into their hearts and spend time with us . Profesional teachers that also friends will guide you in this experience of connection with your body ,mind and soul. Volunteers are always welcome and create a very important part of our community . All that ,and the birds ,mountains ,palm trees and lots of magic is part of our little paradise ,come and be part of the dream

In Yin Yoga, slowing down is where the magic happens… 🪄

When we stay in stillness for a little longer, the body starts to soften and the hips (where we tend to hold a lot of tension)
can finally let go. 😮‍💨

Here are five Yin postures to help release the hips:

• Balasana or Child’s Pose
• Supta Baddha Konasana or Reclining Butterfly
• Supported Hip Opener
• Pigeon Pose
• Upavistha Konasana or Seated Wide-Leg Fold

Longer Yin holds help release deep tension in the connective tissues, improve hip mobility, and bring the nervous system back to a calmer state. 🧘

Try this sequence at home:
Take your time,
breathe slowly,
and let the hips melt a bit. ❤️

“It’s hard to come up with the words to describe my teacher training experience at La Casa Shambala in Thailand.

The connections I walked away with will last a lifetime, and I felt so showered with support from the teachers, fellow students, and volunteers alike.

This immersive experience is not for the faint of heart. There is endless soul digging, rustic living in bamboo huts with compost toilets, and constant learning.

I wanted to go to the flagship location and venture to Asia for my yoga teacher training because it felt like the most authentic and raw way to experience my training.

For those looking for a program dedicated to simplicity and the love of yoga without all the fluff, Koh Phangan might be calling.”

Memories from our February YTT in Arafo, Tenerife. 🌞

“Beautiful location in the mountains, lots of nature. I felt like I was somewhere much further afield!

The teachers were wonderful, super experienced and very helpful and considerate. The classes flowed naturally and we always felt like they were reading and responding to our energy.

I did the intense training and I felt like everything fitted in nicely time wise.

Opportunities were giving to socialise and the food was incredible!

Such kindness and helpful tips given by the team during our stay. So happy to have chosen this organisation and this location.

February was a perfect month and the value for money was great!.”

How did Ganesha get his elephant head? 🐘

According to myth, the goddess Parvati wanted some privacy while she bathed, so she created a boy from clay and breath and asked him to guard the door… 🚪

“Don’t let anyone in,” she said.

But then her husband Shiva returned home and tried to enter. But the boy didn’t know who he was. Faithfully, he blocked the doorway.

Shiva grew angry and in a moment of rage cut off the boy’s head. 🙊

When Parvati came out and saw what had happened, she was heartbroken. 💔

To make things right, Shiva promised to bring the boy back to life. He sent his followers to find the first head they could in the forest.

They returned with the head of a young elephant. 🐘

Shiva placed it on the boy’s body and brought him back to life.

He then blessed him and declared that Ganesha would be honored before all other gods and would forever be known as the remover of obstacles. 🙏

That’s why in yoga people call on Ganesha at the beginning of new journeys to clear the path ahead… 🛣️

Are you planning about starting a new journey soon?

What a way to start 2026! 🌞

Thank you to each of you for this shared journey, for your smiles, your listening, your presence and above all, as we’ve said many times, for your kindness, a subtle and powerful quality that is no longer so common today.

I wish that the world treats you as kindly as you have treated this space and time together, which for me has been sacred.

May the rest of this year and your life be a continuous invitation to step out, learn, fall and rise again, listen to yourselves and keep trying.

May you feel proud to have honored that dream you’ve held in your heart for so long, unsure if you would ever see it through.

And now, here you are, with your certificate in hand, grounded in your practice. I am happy to conclude with the knowing that you will be authentic yoga teachers, present, mindful and even more attentive and conscious both on and off the mat.

See you around, 🤍🌍

Thinking about a Yoga TTC in Tenerife? 🌋

“This training in Arafo, Tenerife was a truly special experience – very challenging, but at the same time incredibly beautiful.

I didn’t only learn a lot about yoga, but also about myself and who I want to be.

Coco and Maite are amazing teachers. Their knowledge, clarity and the way they teach from the heart makes every class inspiring and meaningful.

Susy, the house coordinator, is absolutely wonderful – always kind, present and supportive.

The food was also delicious and nourishing – thank you, Santi!

I’m very grateful for this experience and will carry a lot of it with me. 🙏🏻♥️”

Meet Johanna Hellinger. ❤️

“Yoga helped me 20 years ago with sciatic pain and stress in a period in my life, where I needed it most.

I was able to expand my mind and horizon by traveling and exploring yoga in India and diving into the existing spiritual cultures.

Studying and teaching yoga as an extension of my practise continues to deepen my passion for it. It helps my understanding of the physical body and how the breath affects the metaphysical and emotional bodies.

I was always very curious in the therapeutic application of yoga in combination with science, Ayurveda and TCM to help others individually to find what they need to create balance in their lives.

I have been practising yoga for 20 years and am teaching yoga for 11 years. I teach Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga inspired by Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and Sivananda Yoga, Restorative, Yin Yoga and the embodied practise of Self Myofascial release with the Roll model method.

The subjects I teach in the TTC are Anatomy, Teaching methodology, Philosophy, Asana Clinics and Teaching as a profession.

My invitation is to practise yoga with kindness and a mindful embodied approach - the greatest gift you can give to yourself and others is presence!

I feel that by sharing my knowledge with students I can encourage them to do what they are passionate about and extend their yoga beyond the mat.”

Yoga brings people together from all corners of the world… each speaking their own language, unique stories, and cultural traditions. And yet, something beautiful happens here… we realize we all speak the same language: connection, presence, and love. ❤️

You don’t just learn yoga from a YTT. You expand through the cultures you encounter, the perspectives you receive, and the bonds that form in the most unexpected ways. ✨

Strangers from distant places become family.
And what begins as diversity becomes unity.

What does yoga mean to you?

Leave it in the comments 🫶

What is Self-Love? 💗

In yoga, self-love is not indulgence.

It is Ahimsa… non-violence toward yourself.

It is the quiet commitment to meet yourself with honesty, compassion, and presence. 🩷

To walk the path of yoga is to understand yourself, to care for your body, your mind, and your energy.

This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to practice self-love as devotion. 💓

If your heart has been calling you toward deeper practice, toward teaching, toward living yoga more fully, then give yourself the gift of devotion this Valentine’s Day.
