I feel like sharing and recommending the experience I had today. It was a trippy jungle journey with my friend Anu today.
No substances. But a beautiful psychedelic experiences nonetheless.
Some of you might know Anu from the teacher trainings at …For years we taught together, and he has always been one of the most intuitive teachers I know.
These days he doesn’t teach yoga in the conventional asana class way. But the spirit of yoga is very much there. Now he guides people through movement, dance, energy, and nature journeys.
Anu holds space in a very deep, sweet, particular way, that for lack of better words I will just call TRIPPY(-in the best possible way)…
Everything felt like a metaphor today:
The nature.
The climb.
The silence.
The butterflies and the lizards.
I’ve met myself deeply. But also very lightly and sweetly.
We started (and ended) with a deep, meaningful conversation and some visions and insights.
Then when I felt ready i went into the jungle. Most of the time I walked alone while he stayed behind me. I couldn’t see him, but I knew he was there. It gave me space, privacy to feel myself in nature and also gave me a feeling of safety at the same time.
At the top we shared the lunch he prepared, looked over the jungle, laughed, talked, and shared what came up along the way up.
Anu holds space in such a unique way. It’s something I’ve never experienced with anyone else.
In the journey today I felt that I’m allowed to move like this.
I’m allowed to connect with nature like that.
I felt like a human. Grounded. Alive. Happy. Peaceful. Calm. Strong. Soft.
If you are on Koh Phangan and feel curious to explore yourself in the jungle-womb of this magnificent island, I can truly recommend Anu’s jungle journeys.
This is him .presence
Feel free to ask me more about it.
