Here is two different versions of knee taps
One is on all fours and the other one is on Downward Facing Dog.
They both work on the same muscle groups (shoulders, hips and core) but with different intensity.

What about a “Towards Hanumasana” Sequence
This Tuesday? (10 November)
Don’t let this pose intimidate you! We can view as a journey by unpacking its various elements and restructuring them for more ease and insight. We can use props and variations to find greater stability in the pose and to accommodate varying degrees of flexibility.
Throughout this class, we will be opening our chest, shoulders, groin and hamstrings!

Since I started practicing yoga, my relationship with backbends have always been very friendly. Yet still felt very imbalanced for a long while..
Still, I have to be super conscious during this pose, otherwise it feels like an asymmetrical mess 🤦🏻‍♀️
Lifting one leg up brings a huge amount of instability in this pose ( ) and makes it challenging to keep the pelvis & hips leveled. 🤷🏻‍♀️
So if you feel the same way, here is some things I try;
🎇I strongly engage the and the Gluteus Maximus on the standing leg.
(By all means; your outer thighs and buttocks)
🌠I’m focusing on the same action on pelvis as in Ardha Dhanurasana (push up)
🎆I focus on reaching the top leg towards the ceiling as much as I can. As if I’m being pulled from the top of my toes by a string.
🌠During the previous step, I also keep pulling my knee close to my chest to prevent collapsing to the opposite side.
🎇I place my feet a little bit closer than I would normally place in Urdhva Dhanurasana to create a soft transition from rectangular shape to triangular shape.
🌌Same way, you can try to place your hands a bit wider than you would normally do for Urdhva Danurasana for more balance.
🙌🏻Finally: although it looks graceful, I recommend to practice with heels on the ground and upper foot relaxed in the beginning.

Even in paradise sometimes you need a break and go see another paradise 🤷🏻‍♀️ felt like the vacation I needed. I mean is just the island next door but everything felt so different as if I was in another country.

Meet the “king of all asanas”
is called “the king” because of the tremendous benefits it brings for the body and mind.
🧠All our physical and mental activities are governed by the brain, which is the seat of intelligence, knowledge and wisdom. Yoga pose , increases the blood flow to the brain and it revitalises the entire body and mind.
🩸Headstand inverts the pattern of blood pressure in the body – increasing it in the head and dropping it in the feet:
🩺 The blood pressure at the top of the head increases from 100/60 mm hg in a standing position to 150/110 mm hg or even higher in the headstand.
