I write quite a lot about work and clients, so let’s talk about rest.

In general, being a specialist in a helping profession means a double load on the psyche. It’s not just about managing your own stress and everything connected with family, work, and interactions with people — it’s also about containing and processing your clients’ emotions, and, on top of that, not losing your own balance in the process.

That’s why sport, for me, is not about looking good — it’s a tool for releasing tension. The more stress and work there is, the more movement I need.

Drawing is another way for me to process my own emotions and feelings, while still enjoying the process itself. If I can’t paint with oils, I use gel pens or at least a sketchbook. Doodling, intuitive drawing — all of it helps.

A journal is not just a “girly thing” or a trendy practice. It’s a tool for releasing tension and a way to process feelings — either in the moment or later. It can include dreams, impressions from sessions, which give insight into further work with clients, and also my own “dark side” for reflection. Putting things into words makes them easier to understand and deal with.

Breathing — deep breathing — is always available to you. If you notice yourself breathing shallowly, switch to a deeper rhythm, and you will feel the difference.

Shouting, dancing, singing, hugs, nature, being in it, animals, beauty around me, coffee as a ritual, communication with friends — these are also things that work for me.

Я довольно много пишу про работу и клиентов, поговорим про отдых.

Вообще работа специалиста помогающей профессии это двойное напряжение на психику того самого специалиста. Он не просто должен выдерживать свое собственное напряжение и все сложности, связанные с семьей, работой, процессами взаимодействия с людьми, но и еще и контейнировать и перерабатывать эмоции своих клиентов и более того “не поехать кукухой” при этом.

Поэтому спорт для меня не просто хорошо выглядеть, а это инструмент сброса напряжения: чем больше напряжения и работы, тем больше спорта.

Рисование - также инструмент для переработки своих собственных чувств и эмоций, что не отменяет моего удовольствия от процесса. Если нет возможности писать маслом, то для меня это гелевые ручки или хотя бы одна и скетчбук. Дудлинг, интуитивное рисование - все в помощь.

Дневник -это не просто женская выходка или какое - то модное средство, это инструмент сброса напряжения и возможность переработать или в моменте или позднее свои скрытые ,или вынесенные на поверхности , чувства. Там могут и быть и сны и ощущения от сессий, что дает понимание о дальнейшей работе с клиентом и своя собственная “тьма” для дальнейшего самокопания. Плюс при написании вы облекаете что-то в слова и с этим уже легче и понятней иметь дело.

Дыхание, глубокое дыхание - тот инструмент, который всегда при вас. Если вы дышите поверхностно, переключитесь в режим глубокого дыхания и вы почувствуете разницу.

Крик, танцы, песни, обнимашки, природа и нахождение в ней, животные и красота вокруг, кофе как ритуал, общение с друзьями - вот еще , что работает для меня.

Quick advice.

But real inner work doesn’t happen like that.

It takes time.
Attention.
And the courage to stay with what’s not simple.

Not everything needs to be solved quickly.
Some things need to be understood deeply.
