👀 สายตาสั้น... เรื่องเล็กที่ไม่ควรมองข้าม!
รู้ไหมว่า “ค่าสายตาสั้น” มีโอกาสเพิ่มขึ้นทุกปี โดยเฉพาะในเด็กและวัยรุ่นอายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปี ซึ่งค่าสายตาอาจเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 0.50 – 1.00 dioptres ต่อปี เลยทีเดียว!
ส่วนหนึ่งเกิดจากพฤติกรรมการใช้สายตา เช่น
📵 จ้องมือถือใกล้ตา
📖 อ่านหนังสือต่อเนื่อง
💻 ใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ยาวนาน
พฤติกรรมเหล่านี้เพิ่มภาระให้ดวงตาและส่งผลต่อความสบายในการมองเห็นในระยะยาว ดังนั้น หากเริ่มมองไม่ชัด มองไกลลำบาก หรือรู้สึกว่าต้องเพ่งมากขึ้น การตรวจเช็กสายตาอย่างสม่ำเสมอจะช่วยให้ ตรวจพบปัญหาได้ตั้งแต่เนิ่น ๆ และดูแลได้อย่างเหมาะสม ก่อนที่ค่าสายตาจะเพิ่มเร็วเกินไปนะ 😉

🌿 TOG เชื่อว่า “ทุกสิ่งสามารถกลับมามีคุณค่าได้อีกครั้ง”
บริษัทฯ นำของเสียจากกระบวนการผลิตเลนส์ เช่น เศษฝุ่นเลนส์ มาต่อยอดเป็น อิฐรีไซเคิล โดยผสานกับวัสดุเหลือใช้อย่างกล่องนมและเศษอลูมิเนียม เพื่อสร้างวัสดุใหม่ที่แข็งแรง ทนทาน และใช้งานได้จริง

นี่คืออีกหนึ่งตัวอย่างของการประยุกต์แนวคิด Circular Economy ให้เกิดขึ้นจริงในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ผ่านโครงการ“From Waste to CRAFT by TOG” ผลิตอิฐจากเศษเลนส์กว่า 10,000 ก้อน เพื่อคืนคุณค่ากลับสู่สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม 🌎


🌿 TOG eco-mantra: ‘Everything can regain value!

TOG transforms waste from the lens manufacturing process, such as lens swarf, into construction blocks, which can be used as non-load-bearing bricks. By recycling lens waste and incorporating other leftover materials, including milk cartons and aluminum scraps, TOG is able to create brand new, strong, durable and truly functional materials. Breathing a second life into items which would otherwise be discarded and burdensome to the planet.

This is another prime example of TOG applying Circular Economy principles to real-world industry, through a project, which, to date, has produced over 10,000 bricks, returning value back to society and the environment. 🌎
