Friday is perfect timing to prepare the Art Menu to gently reset our mind during the weekend. 🧘

I'd like to recommend ​these three simple therapeutic art exercises for coloring your weekend to reset and refresh ☘️

​🌀 1. The Soft Breathing Lines : Calming Exercise.
✏️ Draw slow, flowing lines that match the rhythm of your breath. Coloring with soft blues🩵, purples💜, and calming neutrals💚. The slow, repetitive movements and breath-aligned strokes send a direct signal to soothe your nervous system.

​🧩 2. Release & Rebuild Collage : Healing Exercise
✂️📰​ Tear up photo from old magazine or newspapers that represent what you need to relief. Then, glue them to make a new layer and textures photos, coloring with soft tone color that makes a gentle and hopeful feeling. Tearing acts as "Letting Go" while layering rebuild your "Gentle Mood" ✨️

🔥 3. The Strength Mandala : Empowerment Exercise
​✏️ Draw a circle and fill it with shapes and coloring them with red, dark blue, yellow, orange, purple and black. These colors represent your inner strength. The circle provides a feeling of safety, while the radiating shapes and bold colors activate your inner fire and confidence.

"Rooted in the Present": A DIY Grounding Art Practice 🌿🎨

If you are feeling a bit scattered at the start of the week, let's take a moment to anchor ourselves. When we feel mentally grounded, we naturally release the physical tension we carry right down to our feet.
Then, I want to share a mixed-media art exercise designed to help you feel steady, rooted, calm, and present in your body. You don't need to be an artist—just gather some simple materials and follow along:

🍃 1. Choose Earthy Materials: Pick materials with natural textures like kraft paper, fabric scraps, leaves, or twine. Use grounding colors like earthy browns, greens, and muted blues.

🧘‍♀️ 2. Settle & Set an Intention: Before touching the materials, take a slow breath in, notice your feet on the floor, and set an intention like, "I want to feel safe and steady".

🪵 3. Build a "Root" Layer: Start your base with something that feels solid, like gluing down torn brown paper or painting a large grounding color to act as the "earth" beneath your piece.

⚓ 4. Add an Anchor Point: Place a central symbol near the bottom of your page for a rooted effect. This could be a shape like a tree trunk or a rock, or simply a word like "calm" or "steady".

🤲 5. Work Slowly: Pay attention to the weight of your hands and the textures of the materials as you create.

🤍 6. Reflect Gently: When finished, check in with yourself and ask, "What does my body feel like now?".

This practice is all about reconnecting with yourself, slowing down, and feeling supported by the ground beneath you.
