PMAC 2014 World Art Contest

The main objective of the PMAC 2014 World Art Contest is to invite young generation to contribute work of art on the concept of the conference theme.

The Prince Mahidol Award Conference is an annual international conference hosted by the Royal Thai Government, the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, and other relevant International Organizations, Foundations and Civil Society Organizations. The theme of the Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2014 is “Transformative Learning for Health Equity”. This year, the Prince Mahidol Award Conference invites young people to take part in the submissions of two dimensional art and video clips under the topic “learning space”. True learning is not just limited to the classroom, but we can also learn from the internet, society and the environment around us. Moreover, as the world today is growing in technology and communications, the class room or 'learning space' of children and the young generation of the 21st century, is rapidly expanding. In addition, the way of teaching in schools also needs to adapt to accomplish real learning. The Prince Mahidol Award Conference believes that the creation of artwork for the art contest on the topic 'learning space' will encourage children and youth to present new perspectives of achieving knowledge. True learning is not just memorization from books, but it is the understanding of social change around us.

PASSWORD : เลข ID ที่ได้รับหลังจาการลงทะเบียน

ข้อกำหนดของผลงาน
รูปภาพถ่ายในรูปแบบของไฟล์ดิจิตอล หรือไฟล์ภาพที่สแกนมาจากฟิล์มเท่านั้น
รูปภาพถ่ายจะต้องไม่มีกรอบขาว ลายน้ำ หรือลายเซ็นต์
เป็นผลงานที่สร้างสรรค์ภายในปี พ.ศ. 2557 ไม่เคยถูกใช้ในงานประกวด และไม่ได้รับรางวัลจากการประกวดที่ใดมาก่อน
ผู้ส่งงานเข้าประกวดต้องสร้างสรรค์งานด้วยตนเอง
ผู้ส่งงานเข้าประกวดสามารถส่งผลงานได้คนละ 1 ผลงาน

เทคนิคในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน
รูปภาพถ่าย ไฟล์ภาพความละเอียดสูงโดยการใช้กล้องดิจิตอลหรือกล้องฟิล์ม กรณีที่ใช้กล้องฟิล์มจะต้องนำฟิล์มไปสแกนเป็นไฟล์ภาพดิจิตอลความละเอียดสูง ในรูปแบบ .jpg เท่านั้น
ผลงานที่จัดส่งต้องมีคำบรรยายผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ

ข้อกำหนดของผลงาน
ต้องสร้างสรรค์บนสื่อ 2 มิติ เช่น กระดาษ ผ้า เป็นต้น
ขนาดของผลงานบนกระดาษ ไม่เกินกว่า 60 X 80 เซนติเมตร
เป็นผลงานที่สร้างสรรค์ภายในปีพ.ศ. 2557 ไม่เคยถูกใช้ในงานประกวดและไม่ได้รับรางวัลจาก การประกวดที่ใดมาก่อน
ผู้ส่งงานเข้าประกวดต้องสร้างสรรค์งานด้วยตนเอง และต้องมีลายเซ็นของผู้เข้าประกวดกำกับบนผลงานด้วย
ผู้ส่งงานเข้าประกวดสามารถเลือกส่งผลงานได้ทั้งประเภทบุคคลหรือประเภททีม (ทีมละไม่เกิน 3 คน)
ผู้ส่งงานเข้าประกวดสามารถส่งผลงานได้คนละ 1 ผลงาน
ผลงานที่จัดส่งต้องมีคำบรรยายผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ

ภาพเขียน: สีน้ำมัน สีอะคิลิค สีน้ำ
ภาพวาดเส้น : ดินสอสี ดินสอ หมึกจีน สีเทียน ปากกาประเภทต่างๆ ถ่าน
ภาพคอลาช : ต้องเป็นการสร้างสรรค์แบบ 2 มิติ
ภาพพิมพ์: ทุกเทคนิค และกระบวนการในการพิมพ์

Artwork criteria
Digital photograph or Scans of photographs taken by film cameras
No white border, no watermark, no signature
All works should be created from the year of 2014 and must never have received any previous awards or never have been participated in other contests
Each work must be original in concept and design
Each person is allowed only one submission

Artwork mediums
Digital photo (high resolution) with .Jpg format (Up to 20 MB per work)
All the production techniques and editing are allowed

Artwork format and criteria
Two dimensional format
Size of work on the paper should not exceed 60 x 80 cm.
All works should be created from the year of 2014 and must never have received any previous awards or never have been participated in other contests
Artwork must be original in concept and design and signed by the artist him/herself
Entry is allowed in individual or team (limit only 3 students in a team)
Each person is allowed only one submission (individual or team)

Artwork mediums
Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor
Drawings: colored pencil, pencil, ink, marker, pastels, charcoal
Collage: must be two dimensional
Prints: lithographs, silkscreen, block prints
Mono printing
Etching
Mixed media
