Every year, we take time away for a month-long retreat with a small group of dedicated students — a time to step back, deepen the practice, and reconnect with the heart of silence.

From October 9 to November 23, 2025, the center will be closed for regular classes and events while we focus fully on this inner work.

Thank you for your kind understanding and continued support. You can still explore and book upcoming retreats here on our website while we’re away.

Last week was great! All of our guests were working really hard and got some great results from the practice and from their contemplation. It’s hard to be still and pay attention, to reduce distractions and explore silence.

We live in such a heady time of overstimulation scattered minds. Therefore it’s always a true pleasure to spend time with people who see value in introspection and quietude, who are willing to set aside what is not essential and follow the quiet call of their soul to go inside.

We are thankful. It’s been the last 5 day retreat for a little while as we’re heading out for our annual long retreat up north with a dedicated small group. We’ll be back after November 23rd.

Our last retreat before heading off for our own time of retreat this month.
It was a lovely, relaxed group — small but sincere. We shared some meaningful sessions together and feel very grateful.

It's always heartwarming to reconnect with returning students and witness how their practice deepens over the years. Their sincerity and steady intention to practice well is both inspiring and encouraging.

How rare and beautiful it is to feel even a small spark of genuine commitment — the wish to see one’s own blind spots with humility and to patiently refine the path, step by step, with the help of guidance and community.

We’re touched to see this spirit alive in so many who’ve practiced with us again and again.
