NOTE:

However, while many benefits are supported by research, some claims require further investigation. It's advisable to consult healthcare professionals before using aloe vera for medicinal purposes.

DIY Aloe Vera Facemask:

The first crucial stage in any home remedy or recipe involving aloe is preparing the fresh leaves. The process is as follows:

* Cut fresh aloe vera from the garden (yes they grow everywhere in Thailand)
* Soak up the aloe vera standing up in a jar or a cup (for about 30mins) to remove the green gooey bit.
* Slice off the sides of the leaf to remove the spikes (but not too much of the leaf)
* Place the leaf curved side up and remove the outer layer with a knife or vegetable peeler
* Use a sharp knife to remove the layer of clear, inner gel.
* Cut the gel into small pieces.

If you refrigerate the cubes, they will last up to 7 days. Although there are several things you could do with the gel, an Aloe vera face mask helps to moisturize skin and address issues such as acne, fine lines, irritation, and it exfoliates too.

Now the ingredients:

1 tablespoon fresh aloe gel
2 – 3 drops fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon coconut oil or honey.

Method:

Place the gel and coconut oil into a bowl
Add the lemon juice
Blend the mixture thoroughly.

How to use:

Gently smooth the mixture over your face, avoiding the area around the eye, and on your neck
Leave the mask on for 20 minutes
Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Note: If there is any burning, rinse the mask off and exclude the lemon juice next time as it can irritate some people’s skin. If the irritation is marked or prolonged, do not use aloe again as you may be allergic. If necessary, seek medical assistance.

What is CBG?
Cannabigerol (CBG) is an important cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant and is often referred to as the "mother of all cannabinoids." Unlike THC, CBG is not intoxicating and does not cause a high.

While THC and CBD interact with the endocannabinoid system to produce their effects, CBG works through other mechanisms, which explains why it has unique effects. CBG is currently being researched as a potential treatment for a range of conditions, including dementia, PTSD, ADHD, Huntington's disease, ALS, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, colitis, and pain.

What the researchers found in CBG studies?

Antibacterial: McMaster University researchers found that CBG has antifungal and antimicrobial properties so potent that it can even fight off a bacterial strain like MRSA, which is notoriously resistant to antibiotics. CBG is shown to be a superior bacteria fighter to THC, CBD, or CBC.

Anti-inflammatory: CBG shows potential to treat inflammatory conditions like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). One 2013 study published in the journal, Biochemical Pharmacology, found that CBG reduced inflammation in mice with colitis.

Anxiety and Depression: CBG may also help with anxiety by inhibiting the uptake of serotonin and GABA, which regulate our mood. This suggests CBG may have antidepressant qualities.

Bladder dysfunction: According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Urology, CBG has been found to be more effective than other cannabinoids at inhibiting muscle contractions in the human bladder, which may help treat symptoms of many bladder disorders.

Cancer: Cannabics Pharmaceuticals funded a study that showed CBG killing gastrointestinal cancer cells. CBG inhibited the growth of cancer cells, displayed anti-tumor properties, and slowed down disease progression. The study, led by a team of Israeli researchers, found CBG to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells. CBG may also stimulate appetite, which could help counteract one of the effects of chemotherapy.

Muscle relaxant: CBG may function as a natural muscle relaxant, according to a study authored by Ethan B Russo at GW Pharmaceuticals. This could make CBG useful for the management of sports injuries and/or chronic pain.

Neuroprotectant: CBG shows the potential to fight against cognitive decline. A 2015 study published in the journal Neurotherapeutics says CBG may be able to help those dealing with a serious neurological condition such as Huntington’s disease. Because of its potential for the treatment of Huntington’s disease, CBG may also be able to help with other neurological conditions like Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s disease.

Pain Relief: A study from the British Journal of Pharmacology found that CBG may have strong pain-relieving properties. In fact, it was found to be more effective at treating pain than even the likes of THC.

Psoriasis: Evidence suggests that the way CBG interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system might also make it a viable treatment option for psoriasis. Human trials are underway in a study funded by AXIM Biotech and conducted by world-renowned dermatologist and specialist on psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, Dr. Marcus Meinardi, at The Maurits Clinics in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Strengthen bones: CBG may even stimulate bone marrow growth to help strengthen bones and heal fractures, perhaps even to protect against the development of osteoporosis, according to research from the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies and John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Conclusion: Although research on CBG is still in its early stages, some studies suggest that it may have potential therapeutic benefits.

What's out for more CBG information on this page 🙂

We will be developing our own range of CBG products in the future.

Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana / มาร์โจรามหวาน) also called pot marjoram, is a tender perennial herb with a piney-citrus flavour. It is related to oregano and has some similar uses and a milder flavour. The plant is widely cultivated in herb gardens and can be found growing wild where it has escaped cultivation. It is in the Lamiaceae (Mint) Family. I started growing it in my garden for that "time" of the month use and of course for easy access.

Sweet Marjoram is an herb that has edible and medicinal uses. The leaves, flowers, and stems are all edible, and the leaves can be taken in food or distilled oil for medicinal purposes. Sweet Marjoram is effective as a digestive and respiratory tonic, helps with menstrual problems, including pain, cramping, and balancing hormones, and can relieve symptoms of Polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Nursing mothers can consume sweet marjoram to increase breast milk production, and people with type II diabetes can add sweet marjoram and rosemary to their daily diet to aid insulin use and improve blood sugar management.

Marjoram essential oil can relieve muscle spasms, tension headaches, and over-used muscles when used in a massage oil or vaporizer. Additionally, breathing in sweet marjoram essential oil can help lower blood pressure naturally.

To use sweet marjoram medicinally, as little as one tablespoon of dried marjoram is enough to derive health benefits, while a quarter cup of chopped fresh marjoram can be added to food.

Please note: Pregnant women should not use sweet marjoram in high doses as it can induce menstruation.

In a village nestled among vibrant forests, there lived an eccentric artist named Samuel. He was famous for his peculiar creations, which featured 🐦 birds as the central theme. One day, Samuel decided to organize a grand exhibition to showcase his art. The people in the village were eager to see his creations, and the buzz of anticipation filled the air.

Among the masterpieces on display was Samuel's most prized piece, "A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush 🌳". This particular work featured a stunning, life-like golden bird resting in the palm of an outstretched hand, while two ethereal birds flitted nearby among the branches. The message of the artwork resonated deeply with the villagers, inspiring them to appreciate and cherish what they already possessed.

As the sun 🌞 began to set, the exhibition came to an end. The villagers departed, leaving Samuel in quiet reflection. He felt a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing that his art had made an impact on their hearts. Each person left with a newfound appreciation for the simple things in life, like the beauty of a bird perched on their windowsill or the joy of a warm cup of tea ☕ with a friend. Samuel's work had reminded them that sometimes, the most precious treasures are those right before our very eyes.
