This morning, I woke up and saw the sunlight reflecting on the Mekong River 🌅
The cool breeze and the peaceful silence reminded me how powerful simplicity can be.
It made me realize something…
The most valuable things in life are not always the newest ones,
but the ones that have passed through time and still carry meaning.
That is why I created Aran Homestay Khong Riverside —
inspired by a Japanese concept I truly admire: Wabi-Sabi.
The beauty of simplicity, the honesty of time,
and the charm of things that are not perfect… but real.
I took an old place with its own story
and carefully renovated it into something warm and welcoming again.
Not to make it luxurious,
but to create a space where people can experience peace, slow down, and feel truly refreshed.
And I hope that when guests visit,
they don’t only come to rest —
but also to discover our local community, our riverside lifestyle,
and help this small village become more visible and appreciated 🌿
For me, a meaningful business is not only about growth,
but about creating value for both visitors and the community we live in.
