On November 28th, during a ceremony celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Chiesi was recognized as one of three companies that have distinguished themselves in Tunisia over the past four decades.
While two companies were awarded for their investments, Chiesi received a prize for its humanitarian action, supporting the coverage of highly expensive medical treatments for two young girls affected by a rare disease “alpha-mannosidosis”
This initiative perfectly reflects one of the core pillars of our group: putting people at the heart of everything we do.
This award was intended for Mr. Giacomo Chiesi (Executive Vice President), the true initiator of this humanitarian effort. As he was unable to travel to Tunis, I had the immense honor of being delegated to receive this distinction on his behalf.
My warmest thanks go to the Tunisian Italian Chamber of Commerce, its President, and the entire team for this recognition, as well as to all those who support such life-changing initiatives on a daily basis.
