Case Review | Gummy Smile Transformation

This case required a multidisciplinary approach to achieve a harmonious, stable, and natural smile.

We started with gingivectomy and lip repositioning surgery to correct excessive gingival display and rebalance the smile dynamics.
After proper healing and soft-tissue stabilization, hopeless teeth were removed and dental implants were placed in the missing areas, allowing sufficient time for osseointegration.

Once the biological foundation was secured, we completed the transformation with a full-arch restoration using E.max veneers, carefully positioned to support soft tissue, enhance lip posture, and restore ideal smile proportions.

The final result reflects not only aesthetics, but also biology, function, and long-term predictability — a true example of comprehensive smile design.
