Thanks to modern laparoscopic techniques, gastric sleeve surgery is minimally invasive. This means:
✔️ Only 3–5 small incisions
✔️ Each about 1–2 cm
✔️ Much faster healing & minimal scarring

So what happens to the scars?

• At first: slightly red or visible
• After a few months: they start fading
• Long-term: usually become thin, light lines

“I’ll be honest… at first I was scared that the balloon wouldn’t be effective enough. I was also very afraid of surgery, so I started looking for a non-surgical option.

At the beginning I even thought about the 6-month balloon, but in the end I decided to go with the 12-month endoscopic gastric balloon — and I’m so glad I did.
