TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat aortic valve disease, most commonly aortic stenosis. Instead of open-heart surgery, a new valve is delivered through a catheter—often via a blood vessel in the leg—and positioned inside the diseased valve to help restore blood flow.
TAVI may be considered for patients based on factors like symptoms, heart function, imaging results, and overall health. A multidisciplinary cardiology team evaluates each case to determine the safest and most appropriate treatment plan.
📌Results may vary from person to person for any surgical or interventional procedure. It is recommended that you consult your physician for detailed information prior to the procedure. Stock imagery has been used in this design.
