No matter what type of massage you book, before we start the session shortly, I ask and listen to see if I need to know any story related to body, muscles, bones, joints, posture, surgery operation, or sports injuries, etc.
๐Ÿ’ค Once you lie down on the massage table, I start palpation and find tense and blocked areas all over the body, plus check whether all bones are anatomically aligned properly.
My holistic approach is to work on the body zone by zone for the best results.

Exactly, there is so much in our armpits. So it should be massaged so carefully, gently in the case of necessity to work such frozen shoulder syndrome, etc., otherwise it should be skipped as it is a very sensitive area. And it should not be part of deep tissue or sport massage at all, giving strong pressure leading to pain is not treatment but torture. It can get even worse. Those kinds of sensitive zones should be treated in deep pressure touch only by medical doctors, not massage therapists. ๐Ÿ™Œ
I am seeing lately, just for clicks and attention, extremely painful massages are being done armpits, which is totally wrong for our health. ๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธPhysically, we stress our neck a lot bending on screening our cell phones and during the day, we also spend most of on computers cause an uncomfortable posture and may even affect our breathing rate.
๐ŸŽƒ Mentally, the closest zone to our head is the neck and shoulders, so when we are under stress, the nervous system stimulates the closest zone to the brain for protection by tense muscles. Getting massages, keeping the right posture and remembering to breathe naturally are the keys to balancing our bodies.

Joints are one of the most important parts of our movement, even than muscles. We can move with damaged muscles, but a damaged joint would restrict a lot, so stretching and releasing joints will automatically release the muscles too. Shake and stretch removes all the tension in our body with naturally relaxed breath. Vibrating or shaking is the somatic part of relaxation in the massage.
