Hindistan Üroloji Derneği’nin 59. Kongresi’nde “Ürolojik Cerrahi Derneği Lecture” konuşmasını yapmak büyük bir zevk ve onurdu. Bu prestijli etkinlikte dünyanın dört bir yanından meslektaşlarımızla bir araya gelmek ve iş birliği için yeni fırsatlar keşfetmek son derece verimliydi. Ayrıca, Hindistan Üroloji Derneği’nin genç asistanları için “Avrupa Üroloji Board Sertifika Sözlü Sınavı (FEBU)”nda jüri olarak görev almak ve bu yetenekli asistanların zorlu vakaları başarıyla yönetmelerine tanık olmak bir ayrıcalıktı.

It was a great pleasure and honor to deliver “the Society of Urological Surgery in Türkiye Lecture” at the 59th Congress of the Urological Society of India. It was highly rewarding to come together with colleagues from around the world at this prestigious event and to explore new opportunities for collaboration. Additionally, serving as an examiner for “the Fellow of European Board of Urology Oral Exam (FEBU)” for the young residents of the Urological Society of India was truly gratifying, and it was a privilege to witness these talented candidates successfully manage challenging cases.

The Society of Urological Surgery in Türkiye has become the only and unchanging partner of the Urological Association of Asia in our country. All our members can naturally become natural members of the Urological Associaton of Asia and benefit from every opportunity, including the scholarship they provide.

Bir belediye otobüsü penceresinden yaşadığımız ama görmediğimiz İstanbul’un çok katmanlı yapısına derin bir bakış. Bir tarafta değişik uygarlıklara ait başyapıtlar, diğer tarafta “harçlarına tatlı bir yuva hayali karışan yaşanacak evler” ve bir diğer tarafta “harçlarına yapsatçıların doymak bilmez kar hırsı karışan satılacak evler”. Today, I am honored and proud to be elected Chair of the Department of Urology at Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine. I will do my best to enhance the success of our Department.

I had the privilege of being an invited speaker at the 58th Congress of the Urological Society of India. It was a great honor to sign a protocol for enhanced collaboration between our societies during this esteemed event.

Through this significant agreement, members of the Society of Urological Surgery in Türkiye will now have access to engaging in both short and long-term exchange programs. Additionally, four of our residents will benefit from the opportunity to attend the Indian Urological Congress, with full coverage of registration and accommodation expenses courtesy of the Urological Society of India.

Reciprocally, young urologists from India will also have the chance to avail themselves of similar opportunities in Türkiye. This mutually beneficial initiative aims to foster knowledge exchange and professional development across borders.
