Do retinoids make your skin peel for weeks?

Most people are told to apply retinoid directly to clean, dry skin. While that works, it can also trigger weeks of peeling and irritation.

The sandwich method:
👉🏽 Moisturizer first
👉🏽 then retinoid (avoiding the corners of the mouth and around the eyes)
👉🏽 then moisturizer again.
