Glaucoma often has no early warning signs, and once vision is lost, it cannot be restored. That’s why knowing your risk factors and getting screened regularly is so important.

You may be at higher risk if you:
- Are over 40 years of age
- Are of African or Hispanic descent
- Have diabetes or high blood pressure
- Have a family history of glaucoma
- Have had previous injury or trauma to the eye

If even one of these applies to you, regular eye exams can help detect glaucoma early and protect your vision.
