Glaucoma often has no early warning signs, and once vision is lost, it cannot be restored. That’s why knowing your risk factors and getting screened regularly is so important.

You may be at higher risk if you:
- Are over 40 years of age
- Are of African or Hispanic descent
- Have diabetes or high blood pressure
- Have a family history of glaucoma
- Have had previous injury or trauma to the eye

If even one of these applies to you, regular eye exams can help detect glaucoma early and protect your vision.

Crystal never imagined that a routine glasses exam would reveal she needed eye surgery.

What began as a shock soon became a journey of reassurance. At Trinidad Eye Hospital, Crystal found more than medical care; she found understanding, flexible payment options, and a team that supported her every step of the way.

Today, she’s back doing what she loves most: teaching and changing lives.

Don’t wait. Prioritise your vision and schedule your consultation before small problems become big ones.
