World Diabetes Day Lecture

The San Fernando Teaching hospital hosted a Diabetes Day lecture, under the theme “Promote Diabetes Awareness in the Workplace.”

Presentations were delivered by Dr. Joel David Teelucksigh, Dr. Narine Mark, Dr. Moshanti Ramdath, and Milissa Kowlessar, RN, CCDE, who guided attendees through the Alphabet of Diabetes Care. The sessions highlighted essential tips for managing diabetes, including HbA1C testing, blood-pressure control, healthy eating, daily physical activity and routine eye and foot checks.
