This youngster seems to have wandered away from home. He was found in woodbrook a few days ago. His left hind leg is injured so he has a limp. A kind soul took him to the vet for a checkup and bravecto treatment as he was covered in ticks and fleas. Please share to help us find his owners.

If you have tried our rice and dal meals you would know that we do this everyday dish differently.
You might also have noticed that we never use yellow split peas. Instead, we opt for fast-cooking beans and pulses that are great as protein sources and known to be easier to digest; such as red lentils, mung beans and urdi.

Today, our dal tadka was made using gub gub or navy beans. It was one of my ma’s favorite beans for dal. Since she left this earthly plane earlier this year, I often find myself making dishes that delighted her; as though, through the food, I can somehow stay connected to her. Sometimes I can almost hear her instructing me and when the resulting dish is really good, she would smile and nod in approval.
This was one of those times 😋
