Breathe In Yoga My journey with yoga started in my teens and even though we have often grown apart, we have always found our way back together. My son is always Number One!!!

Available for private and group classes and teaching at public locations throughout Trinidad If I’m feeling down or anxious, yoga is my stability and grounding. When I’m happy and contented, yoga is the best way to celebrate. In 2014, I found myself at a crossroads in my life... diagnosis with major depression 2 years prior, coming to terms with my son being on the autism spectrum, a super demanding job as a production supervisor and being a single mama. My life was stagnant, yet overwhelming. Filled with routine and obligations, yet being faced with extreme curve-balls that kept threatening to defeat me. And this was when Yoga Teacher Training entered my life. I signed up with The Sangha Trinidad and it has remained the second best decision of my life. In 2016, I took that decision a step further when I turned my back on a 15 year career focused on chemistry and food science and decided to teach yoga full-time. And months later, there are no regrets, just continuous growth and looking forward to the future. My style draws from my personality… focused, a certain level of serious and level-headedness, so that your practice is done safely. But coupled with my flair to be different… to be able to embody yourself, flaws and all, and recognize your perfect expression of who you are, without expectations or judgement. I teach in a manner which is challenging, but also encouraging to students that they may be able to embrace their inner peace. Yoga is an experience that will transform your thinking, your views on life and the world. Working hard for something that you love is called passion and I have found my passion in yoga.

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a powerful meditation practice where you lie down, relax and embrace a state of conscious rest and deep relaxation. You'll be guided in a practice that allows you to release stress, restore balance between mind and body, and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.

If you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed, this is a perfect opportunity to practice some loving kindness to yourself and start working towards easing that anxiety, lifting your mood, and reconnecting with your inner peace.
