彰化基督教醫院自從2004年起投入海外醫療服務工作，2005年開始正式以SHARE【即Spiritual Concern (靈性關懷)、Health Promotion (醫療照護)、Strategic Alliance (策略聯盟)、Resource Mobilization (資源整合)、Knowledge Education (知識教育)】作為海外醫療服務之核心價值與工作方針，至今足跡已遍佈亞太、亞西、南太平洋、非洲及加勒比海地區，除參與急難救助、災後關懷，亦提供開發中國家醫療健康照護及醫護人員專業培訓。幾年以來，彰基結合政府與非政府組織(NGOs)資源，派遣近70個醫療團，將近500名醫護志工，前往16個國家服務。

除提供醫療服務、臨床教學，更透過專題演講和衛生教育分享醫療新知，以嘉惠當地民眾。此外，為提升友好國家醫療水準，彰基也接受友好國家派遣醫護、醫事、研究人員及學生至彰基交流研習，藉著親自在台灣的實習機會，除可提升醫療技術與知識外，也能體驗台灣生活，宣傳台灣文化。彰基自2006年起，每年接受友好國家醫事人員至本院為期1至3個月之不同專科的訓練課程，至2021年底止已有來自巴布亞紐幾內亞、聖文森、史瓦濟蘭、泰國、蒙古、印尼、聖露西亞等國的醫師、護理人員、醫檢師、醫學工程師、醫務管理師等專業人員，超過400位至本院訓練。

為全面提升開發中國家醫療素質，彰基也不定期捐贈開發中國家二手勘用之儀器設備，包括捐贈剛果、肯亞、尼泊爾、聖露西亞、聖文森、蒙古、印尼、巴布亞紐幾內亞及緬甸等偏遠地區醫院之醫療器材及物資，讓當地居民可以得到更好的醫療照護。而對於天災之急難救助，彰基也不落人後，先後有醫護同工與國內急難救助之非政府組織合作，積極投入災難救助行列。如2008年四川大地震、2010年海地大地震、2011年日本海嘯、2014年南亞海嘯及2015年尼泊爾大地震等。

未來，彰基將持續推動海外醫療服務，並整合政府、非政府組織和私有部門等的資源，邀請本院及其他醫院各專科醫護人員加入海外醫療行列，並將聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs)納入海外醫療服務計畫規劃，藉由醫療技術的分享與人道關懷，將當初蘭大衛醫師注入彰基的愛，散佈至世界有需要的角落，讓有彰基腳印的地方，就有愛。

彰化基督教醫院（彰基）與巴布亞紐幾內亞（簡稱巴紐）拉包爾省Nonga醫院自2016年起展開合作，惟於2020年因疫情暫停。事隔五年後，彰基醫療團於2025年10月7日至19日再次前往Nonga醫院，重啟雙邊醫療服務與交流。期間，拉包爾省Nonga醫院亦升格為東新不列顛省衛生局（East New Britain Provincial Health Authority, ENBPHA），雙方並更新合作備忘錄（MoU），持續深化醫護人員培訓與專業交流。

此次醫療團由彰基海外醫療中心執行長高小玲博士率領，團員包括胸腔內科張時榮醫師、心臟內科林芸醫師、骨科石久煜醫師、耳鼻喉科林耕緯醫師、營養師林易澂及管理師鄭涴玹。醫療團抵達後受到Nonga醫院熱烈歡迎，期間舉辦多場專題講座，分享骨科、耳鼻喉科、心臟內科及胸腔內科之新技術與臨床指引。此外，團隊亦前往Divine Word University附設St. Mary護理學校，開設癌症營養衛教講座，協助師生建立正確的臨床營養觀念，獲得熱烈迴響。

醫療團亦經由首都莫士比港醫院（Port Moresby General Hospital, PMGH）引介，前往中央省Kwikila醫院進行參訪與交流，了解當地醫療需求並評估後續合作方向。同時，彰基並邀請Kwikila醫院院長Dr. Ovia與國家首都區省級醫院院長Dr. Robin來台參訪，除參觀智慧醫院及醫療系統外，亦將出席今年度台灣醫療科技展（Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo），親身體驗台灣智慧醫療產品與技術成果。

Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) has collaborated with Nonga Hospital in Rabaul Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 2016. The partnership was temporarily suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic. After a five-year hiatus, the CCH medical team returned to Nonga Hospital from October 7 to 19, 2025, to resume medical service and professional exchange.

During this visit, Nonga Hospital was officially upgraded to the East New Britain Provincial Health Authority (ENBPHA). CCH and ENBPHA renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen cooperation in healthcare personnel training and professional development.

The mission was led by Dr. Hsiao-Ling (Nina) Kao, Executive Director of the Overseas Medical Mission Center at CCH. The team members included Dr. Shih-Jung Chang (Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine), Dr. Yun Lin (Cardiology), Dr. Chiu-Yu Shih (Orthopedics), Dr. Keng-Wei Lin (Otolaryngology), Dietitian I-Cheng Lin, and Ms Wan-Hsuan Cheng (PM).

The team received a warm welcome from Nonga Hospital. They delivered multiple lectures and workshops, sharing the latest clinical updates and best practices in orthopedics, otolaryngology, cardiology, and pulmonary medicine. In addition, the team visited St. Mary’s School of Nursing, affiliated with Divine Word University, to conduct a nutrition education seminar focused on cancer nutrition, helping nursing faculty and students build accurate and practical nutrition knowledge — an event that was met with enthusiastic response.

Through the introduction of Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH), the team also visited Kwikila Hospital in Central Province to explore potential collaboration and assess medical needs. Furthermore, Dr. Ovia, Director of Kwikila Hospital, and Dr. Robin, Director of the National Capital District Provincial Hospital, have been invited to visit Taiwan. Their visit will include tours of smart hospitals and health information systems, as well as participation in the Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo, where they will experience Taiwan’s latest smart healthcare technologies and innovations firsthand.

2025 年 9 月 10 日，彰化基督教醫院海外醫療中心執行長高小玲受邀參加由經濟部產業發展署、金屬工業研究發展中心、倍智科技 (V5med Inc.) 與泰國代理商 TDD Trading Co., Ltd. 合作舉辦的揭幕儀式。該儀式於泰國 Vichaivej International Hospital 舉行，正式啟用肺腺癌 AI 輔助檢測示範點。同場活動中，Srivichai Vejvivat Public Company Limited (VIH) 與台灣醫療團隊共同宣布導入由 V5med 研發的「V5 Lung AI」人工智慧系統，協助醫師更精準與高效地診斷胸腔疾病，提升臨床治療的準確度與效率。此舉不僅展現了 VIH 積極引進國際創新科技的決心，也讓台灣智慧醫療的實力在泰國落地實踐。整體計畫獲得台灣經濟部工業局的支持，象徵台灣醫療創新技術正式進入泰國市場，並推動兩國在醫療科技與公共衛生領域的深度合作。透過這次跨國協作，彰化基督教醫院也展現其在國際醫療合作上的積極角色，攜手多方共同致力於提升醫療標準與病人照護品質。

On September 10, 2025, Dr. Nina, Hsiao-Ling Kao, Executive Director of the Overseas Medical Mission Center at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), was invited to attend the inauguration ceremony jointly organized by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Metal Industries Research & Development, V5med Inc., and Thailand’s agent TDD Trading Co., Ltd.. The ceremony took place at Vichaivej International Hospital, marking the official launch of the AI-assisted Lung Adenocarcinoma Screening Demonstration Site. At the same event, Srivichai Vejvivat Public Company Limited (VIH), together with the Taiwanese medical team, announced the introduction of the “V5 Lung AI” system, developed by V5med, to assist physicians in achieving more accurate and efficient diagnoses of thoracic diseases and improving the precision and efficiency of clinical treatment. This initiative not only highlights VIH’s commitment to adopting international medical innovations but also demonstrates Taiwan’s capabilities in smart healthcare technologies being successfully implemented in Thailand. The overall program is supported by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, symbolizing the entry of Taiwan’s medical innovation into the Thai market and promoting deeper collaboration between the two countries in medical technology and public health. Through this cross-border cooperation, CCH also underscores its proactive role in international medical collaboration, working hand-in-hand with multiple partners to enhance medical standards and the quality of patient care.

2025年9月13日，帶領來自巴布亞紐幾內亞的醫護人員與國際病人，展開了一趟精彩的台中文化之旅。首先走訪國立自然科學博物館，不僅欣賞了恐龍化石與宇宙奧秘，還巧遇館內正在舉辦的巴紐文化特展，讓參與者倍感親切與驚喜。午餐時間則安排台灣傳統小吃，讓大家透過美食體驗在地風味。隨後前往台中海洋館，欣賞多樣水生生態並學習保育知識，最後來到LaLaport購物中心，大家不僅享受了現代化的休閒氛圍，也挑選伴手禮，為即將結束的台灣旅程留下美好回憶。這趟旅程在知識、美食與文化的交織中，成就了一個難忘的一日行程，也讓國際友人對台灣的自然、人文與生活風貌留下了深刻印象。

On September 13, 2025, we arranged medical staff and international patients from Papua New Guinea (PNG) on a memorable cultural journey through Taichung. The day began at the National Museum of Natural Science, where participants explored dinosaur fossils, the mysteries of space, and delighted in a special exhibition on PNG culture—an unexpected highlight that sparked joy and a deep sense of connection. For lunch, the group savored traditional Taiwanese dishes, discovering local flavors through food.
In the afternoon, the tour continued at the Taichung Aquarium, offering insights into marine biodiversity and Taiwan’s conservation efforts. The day concluded at LaLaport Taichung, where guests experienced a modern lifestyle setting and selected souvenirs to carry home as mementos of their time in Taiwan.
This one-day journey blended knowledge, flavors, and cultural discovery, leaving our guests with lasting impressions of Taiwan’s natural wonders, rich heritage, and everyday life.

本(2025)年8月31日至9月6日，彰基醫護團隊前往泰國，拜會駐泰國台北經濟文化辦事處、泰國公共衛生部護理局 (Nursing Division, MOPH)，以及多家合作醫院，包括華僑醫院 (Hua Chiew Hospital)、曼谷基督教醫院 (Bangkok Christian Hospital)、三美泰醫院 (Samitivej Thonburi Hospital)，並受邀參加泰國聖路易大學 (Saint Louis College, SLC) 創校40週年國際學術研討會，展開為期一週的交流行程。
此次參訪除分享本院於安寧緩和照護、人工智慧於護理系統應用與護理教育的實證經驗外，也實地驗收智慧藥櫃示範點的使用成果，並與泰國醫院深入交流人力培育、數位轉型與護理人力短缺的因應等。同時，亦就智慧醫療推廣、跨國護理教育合作及領導力培訓等議題與合作單位交換意見，獲益良多。
透過本次行程，彰基不僅展現台灣醫療軟實力，也汲取泰國在智慧醫療、醫療觀光與護理教育上的經驗，期望持續推動跨國合作，強化醫衛交流與研究，提升台灣醫療的國際能見度。

From August 31 to September 6, 2025, the delegation of Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) visited Thailand to strengthen healthcare collaboration. The itinerary included meetings with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO) and the Nursing Division of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), as well as hospital visits to Hua Chiew Hospital, Bangkok Christian Hospital, and Samitivej Thonburi Hospital. The delegation was also invited to attend the 40th Anniversary International Conference of Saint Louis College (SLC) in Bangkok.

During the visit, CCH shared its experience in palliative and hospice care, AI applications in nursing systems, and evidence-based nursing education, while also evaluating the performance of the Smart Medication Cabinet pilot project. In-depth discussions were held on workforce development, digital transformation, and strategies to address nursing workforce shortages. Furthermore, dialogues with TECO and the MOPH emphasized opportunities in smart healthcare promotion, cross-border nursing education, and leadership training for young professionals.

This visit not only highlighted Taiwan's medical expertise, but also enabled CCH to learn from Thailand's advancements in smart healthcare, medical tourism, and nursing education. Moving forward, CCH is committed to fostering cross-border cooperation, enhancing medical education and research, and expanding Taiwan's visibility on the international healthcare stage.

本(2025)年8月22日，彰基婦產部王彥筑醫師受邀參加本院印尼姊妹醫院 Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta (UKSH)舉辦之妊娠高血壓與子癇前症的治療(Management of Hypertension and Preeclampsia in Pregnant Women) 國際線上研討會，分享孕婦子癇前症的早期檢測相關經驗。除彰基講者外，還包括馬來西亞 Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Institute of Medical Science Technology, Muhammad Norzein Ab. Rahim專家、印尼Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital婦產部Dr. Robert Ridwan、以及印尼Kusuma Husada University 助產學程Hutari Puji Astuti專家等，分享子癲癇前症的急救經驗與預防。本研討會吸引超過350位師生參與，活動圓滿結束。

On August 22, 2025, Dr. Yan-Zhu Wang from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) was invited to speak at the international midwifery webinar “Management of Hypertension and Preeclampsia in Pregnant Women” organized by our Indonesian sister hospital, Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta (UKSH). Dr. Wang shared clinical experiences on the early detection of preeclampsia in pregnant women.

In addition to Dr. Wang, the seminar also featured presentations by Muhammad Norzein Ab. Rahim from Universiti Kuala Lumpur – Institute of Medical Science Technology, Malaysia, Dr. Robert Ridwan from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital, Indonesia, and Hutari Puji Astuti from the Midwifery Program at UKSH, Indonesia, who shared insights on emergency management and prevention strategies for preeclampsia.

The webinar attracted more than 350 faculty members and students, fostering fruitful academic exchange and concluding successfully.

本院與泰國Overbrook Hospital攜手合作，自114年7月1日至7月31日，接待並培訓泰國Nongkhai Wattana醫院2名護理師，以及寮國Alliance International Medical Centre之1名醫師與1名護理師，共計4名醫事人員。
此次交流培訓不僅促進跨國醫療專業的深度連結，也展現本院在醫療教育及國際合作上的實力與承諾。期盼透過雙方的專業互動，深化彼此醫療經驗，共同提升區域醫療照護品質。

From July 1st to 31st , 2025, our hospital is honored to collaborate with Overbrook Hospital in Thailand to host and train four medical professionals: two nurses from Nongkhai Wattana Hospital in Thailand, and one physician and one nurse from the Alliance International Medical Centre in Laos.
This partnership strengthens cross-border medical exchange and demonstrates our hospital’s commitment to medical education and international collaboration. Through this professional interaction, we aim to enrich healthcare expertise and jointly enhance the quality of medical services in the Thailand and Laos.

本(2025)年7月7日到7月25日，印尼Klinik Permata, Corina Permata Hati Foundation一名婦產科醫師Dr. Yenni Darvina Sipayung和一名助產士Ms. Mei Yantri Purba至彰基護理部與婦產部，進行為期三星期的研習，並於7月25日頒發結業證書，期許學員們回國後都能學以致用，造福更多印尼民眾。

From July 7th to July 25th, 2025, Dr. Yenni Darvina Sipayung, an obstetrician and gynecologist, and Ms. Mei Yantri Purba, a midwife, from Klinik Permata, Corina Permata Hati Foundation in Indonesia, participated in a three-week professional training program at the Nursing Division and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH). The training program concluded with a certificate award ceremony on July 25, during which both trainees were recognized for their active participation. We hope that the knowledge and experience they gained during their time at CCH will be applied in their future clinical practice, helping to improve maternal and newborn care in Indonesia and benefit more patients in their communities.

彰化基督教醫院（彰基）醫療團於2025年7月9日至20日前往巴布亞紐幾內亞（Papua New Guinea, PNG），在首都莫士比港醫院（Port Moresby General Hospital, PMGH）及馬當省醫院（Madang Provincial Health Authority, MPHA）提供醫療服務、專業交流及營養衛教活動。此行由海外醫療中心執行長高小玲率領，成員包括神經外科郭明錡醫師、心臟內科王聖云醫師、骨科蔣育瑋醫師、耳鼻喉科夏瑄佑醫師、營養師薛羽庭及管理師鄭涴玹。

7月16日，彰基骨科蔣育瑋醫師與MPHA骨科醫師Dr. Kune合作，於馬當省完成全國首例「全髖關節置換手術（Total Hip Replacement, THR）」。患者為一名73歲男性，左側股骨頸骨折已逾半年無法行走。手術前，雙方多次討論確認手術方式與器械配置，儘管手術當天仍遭遇器械不齊等挑戰，手術團隊臨場迅速調整，在彰基醫師指導協助下成功完成手術，且術後恢復良好，無併發症。
此次手術為MPHA醫療團隊首次執行人工關節置換，彰基團隊亦就後續手術流程、手術護理人員的培訓，以及跨國臨床協作方式與當地醫師深入交流，使全髖關節置換手術成功落地巴紐，也開啟骨科技術移轉的新契機。

另因應巴紐當地糖尿病、癌症等慢性病盛行，彰基醫療團也於PMGH舉辦「慢性病與癌症營養衛教座談會」，邀請曾來台就醫患者、其家屬與醫院護理師等參與。營養師薛羽庭根據不同病症，提供簡明實用的飲食建議，協助民眾建立正確營養觀念。會後發送衛教單張與簡報，期盼將健康飲食的理念深植社區，活動廣獲好評。

本次醫療任務除成功完成關鍵醫療技術引進，亦強化與巴紐當地機構的交流與合作。彰化基督教醫院將持續與PMGH及MPHA維持夥伴關係，透過長期技術移轉、臨床實作與專業培訓，提升當地醫療人員能力，致力推動全民健康與永續醫療發展，實踐台灣對全球健康的承諾。

From July 9 to 20, 2025, a medical team from Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), Taiwan, conducted a medical mission to Papua New Guinea (PNG), delivering clinical services, professional exchanges, and nutrition education activities at Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) and Madang Provincial Health Authority (MPHA). The delegation was led by Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of the Overseas Medical Mission Center, and included Dr. Martin Kuo (Neurosurgery), Dr. Tom Wang (Cardiology), Dr. David Chiang (Orthopedics), Dr. Sam Hsia (Otolaryngology), Ms. Tiffany Hsueh (Dietitian), and Ms. Jade Cheng (Program Officer).

On July 16, Dr. David Chiang from CCH’s Department of Orthopedics collaborated with MPHA orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kune to perform the first-ever Total Hip Replacement (THR) surgery in Papua New Guinea. The patient, a 73-year-old male, had suffered from a left femoral neck fracture for over six months, rendering him unable to walk. In preparation for the surgery, the teams held multiple discussions to confirm the surgical procedure and instrument requirements. Although equipment shortages and size mismatches were encountered on the day of surgery, the team responded swiftly and adjusted accordingly. With guidance and support from Dr. Chiang, the operation was successfully completed, and the patient made a smooth recovery without complications.

This marked MPHA’s first attempt at performing a joint replacement surgery. In addition to the procedure itself, the CCH team engaged in in-depth exchanges with local medical staff on surgical workflows, operating room nursing practices, and cross-border collaboration strategies. The successful implementation of THR not only brought hope to the patient but also signified a major step forward in the transfer of orthopedic surgical expertise to PNG.

In light of the country’s high burden of chronic diseases such as diabetes and cancer, the CCH team also hosted a “Nutrition and Chronic Disease Education Seminar” at PMGH. Participants included former patients who had received treatment in Taiwan, their families, and local nurses. Dietitian Tiffany Hsueh shared practical dietary guidance tailored to different disease conditions, helping participants build accurate and sustainable nutritional habits. Educational materials and presentation slides were distributed after the session to reinforce the learning. The event received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees and was well-received by the local community.

Beyond introducing advanced medical procedures, this mission further solidified cooperation between CCH and PNG health institutions. CCH will continue its partnerships with PMGH and MPHA through long-term clinical training, professional capacity building, and technology transfer. With these efforts, CCH remains committed to improving healthcare access and quality in underserved regions, advancing Taiwan’s role in global health development.

本（2025）年6月9日至7月18日，來自泰國 Walailak 大學的兩位藥學系學生 Mr. Techit Piriyapol 與 Ms. Phichamon Chinnawong，於彰化基督教醫院及員林基督教醫院進行為期六週之藥學臨床實習。實習內容涵蓋化療藥品調劑、無菌操作技術、管制藥品處理、病人用藥安全評估、門診衛教、物流與供應系統參訪、腎臟照護與安寧療護觀摩等多面向訓練，內容豐富且具臨床實務深度。

實習期間，兩位學生展現高度學習熱忱與積極主動的態度，不僅參與個案討論與病人衛教設計，也觀察台灣藥師於臨床照護、病人溝通與跨團隊合作中的專業角色，獲得許多啟發。

兩位學生於7月18日完成所有課程，舉辦實習結訓心得分享會，內容包括學習歷程與收穫、未來如何應用所學於臨床實務，以及在台期間的生活經驗與文化觀察等。分享會中，各實習單位指導藥師亦出席聆聽，並肯定學生的優異表現與專業潛力。

會後由藥學部主任頒發培訓結業證書，期勉兩位學生未來能持續精進專業知識，將所學帶回母國，造福更多病人，並成為促進國際藥學交流的重要橋樑。

< Internship Reflection Presentation by Two Pharmacy Students from Walailak University, Thailand >

From June 9 to July 18, 2025, two pharmacy students from Walailak University in Thailand, Mr. Techit Piriyapol and Ms. Phichamon Chinnawong, completed a six-week clinical pharmacy internship at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) and Yuanlin Christian Hospital (YCH). The internship program covered a wide range of topics, including chemotherapy drug compounding, aseptic techniques, hazardous drug handling, medication safety assessments, outpatient counseling, pharmaceutical logistics and supply systems, as well as observational training in renal care and palliative care. The program was rich in content and emphasized practical clinical experience.

During the internship, both students demonstrated great enthusiasm and initiative. They actively participated in case discussions and patient education design, and gained valuable insights into the professional roles of Taiwanese pharmacists in clinical care, patient communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

On July 18, the two students completed all internship training and held a reflection presentation to share their learning experiences, future applications of acquired knowledge, and cultural observations from their time in Taiwan. Supervising pharmacists from each training unit attended the session, offering positive feedback and recognizing the students' excellent performance and professional potential.

At the end of the session, the Director of the Department of Pharmacy presented internship completion certificates to the students, encouraging them to continue advancing their professional knowledge, apply what they have learned in their home country to benefit more patients, and become a bridge for international pharmacy exchange.

本(2025)年6月30日至7月4日馬來西亞私立醫院協會護理委員會(Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) Nursing Chapter) 委員一行蒞臨彰化基督教醫院，展開多日的智慧醫療與護理管理學習之旅。
本次來訪團成員涵蓋馬來西亞多家私立醫院的高階主管與資深護理人員，特別關注台灣在以下領域的實務經驗與策略分享：
• 護理人員招募與職涯發展
• 數位科技與AI在病人照護的應用
• 領導力培訓與國際交流計畫
• 護理資訊系統建置與臨床應用
• 智慧醫院導入經驗
彰基護理團隊以「護理資訊系統建置與應用」為開場，分享如何透過數位化流程提升臨床效率與照護品質。團隊也參訪智慧護理站、母乳閉環等創新場域，並前往員林基督教醫院觀摩智慧與綠色醫院實務。

< Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) Nursing Chapter Visited Taiwan>

From June 30 to July 4, 2025, members of the Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) Nursing Chapter visited Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) for a learning journey focused on smart healthcare and nursing information system management.
The delegation comprised senior executives and experienced nursing professionals from various private hospitals in Malaysia. Their visit focused on learning about Taiwan’s practical experiences and strategic approaches in the following areas:
• Nursing staff recruitment and career development
• Application of digital technology and AI in patient care
• Leadership training and international exchange programs
• Development and clinical application of nursing information systems
• Implementation experiences of smart hospitals
The CCH nursing team kicked off the program with a presentation on the “Development and Application of Nursing Information Systems,” showcasing how digitalization enhances clinical efficiency and care quality. The delegation also visited innovative facilities, including the Smart Nursing Station and the Breastmilk Closed-loop Management System, and toured Yuanlin Christian Hospital to observe the practical implementation of innovative and environmentally friendly hospital concepts.
The itinerary also included an in-depth visit to imedtac, a leading smart healthcare company, to explore integrated innovation solutions. Additionally, the delegation engaged in a meaningful exchange with the Taiwan Nurses Association, discussing nursing recruitment, digital transformation, leadership development, and the potential for bilateral collaboration.
We look forward to fostering future partnerships between Taiwan and Malaysia in nurturing nursing talent and advancing smart healthcare initiatives!

本（2025）年6月2日至6月27日，來自巴布亞紐幾內亞 The Madang Provincial Health Authority (MPHA) 的兩位醫事人員—物理治療師 Mr. Wamingi Isaac 及護理師 Ms. Sani Grace，於彰化基督教醫院展開短期研習。研習內容涵蓋復健醫學部、骨科部、護理部及營養部等單位。
兩位學員於6月26日結束培訓，舉辦心得分享會，內容包括在彰基的學習收穫、返國後如何實際應用所學、在台生活的經驗分享，以及對研習課程的回饋與建議。各單位講師也對兩位學員表現給予高度肯定，讚賞他們學習態度積極、勇於提問，並與同仁互動融洽。
分享會最後由研習單位導師頒發結業證書，期許兩位學員未來能將所學運用於臨床工作，並將台灣的美好記憶帶回家鄉。

< Completion Sharing Session for Two Medical Professionals from The Madang Provincial Health Authority (MPHA), Papua New Guinea>

From June 2 to June 27, 2025, two medical professionals from The Madang Provincial Health Authority (MPHA) of Papua New Guinea, Mr. Wamingi Isaac (Physiotherapist) and Ms. Sani Grace (Nurse), participated in a short-term training program at Changhua Christian Hospital. They underwent training in departments including the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Department of Orthopedics, Department of Nursing, and Department of Nutrition.
On June 26, the two trainees have completed the training and shared their learning experiences, reflections, feedback, and how they plan to apply their knowledge upon returning PNG. The instructors highly praised both trainees for their positive attitude, proactive questioning, and harmonious interactions with the staff.
The session concluded with the presentation of certificates of completion, expressing the hope that both trainees will apply what they have learned to improve healthcare in Papua New Guinea, and carry with them fond memories of their time in Taiwan.

2025年6月21日，帶領來自巴布亞紐幾內亞與泰國目前於本院研習的醫事人員與國際病人，展開了一場充滿台灣在地風情的文化之旅。行程包含彰化巫家捏麵館、台灣玻璃館、鹿港民俗文物館與鹿港老街。
在捏麵館欣賞傳統捏麵工藝的精巧細緻，在玻璃館感受玻璃藝術之美，並透過鹿港的民俗文物館與老街漫步，更深入了解台灣早期民俗文化。這場文化一日之旅，讓他們在台灣留下難忘且深刻的文化體驗與美好回憶。

On June 21, 2025, we organized a one-day cultural experience in Changhua for our medical trainees and international patients from Papua New Guinea and Thailand.
The tour included visits to Wu Family Dough Figurine Hall, Taiwan Glass Museum, Lukang Folk Arts Museum, and the historic Lukang Old Street. Participants marveled at the intricate dough figurines and glass art, while also gaining a deeper appreciation of Taiwan’s rich folk traditions and cultural heritage.
It was a meaningful and memorable experience that offered our guests a deeper connection to Taiwan through its artistry, history, and hospitality.
