Another year has come and gone so fast, and now we are getting ready to welcome dragon babies!
If you are interested in a dragon baby of your own, take a look at our table to make sure you get your timing right😆
But of course, most importantly, is to have a healthy and happy baby🥹
Wishing everyone a wonderful new year and luck for their new babies!!
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR🎉
A new year, a new start... We're moving!
Just to downstairs though (14F)…😆
Cleaning up the office, I found many cards and baby pictures from previous patients.
Patients who went through multiple rounds of IVF before getting pregnant.
Patients with AMH

Ms. L is 35 years old and has lived with chocolate cysts for years. She underwent a laparoscopic cystectomy (to remove the chocolate cysts) two years ago and had been trying for a baby for 4 years. When she came to our clinic, her AMH was only 0.678. Her inital exams showed a recurrent chocolate cyst (but only 2cm) and left tubal occlusion. After thorough discussion, it was decided to not waste time and directly try for her pregnancy.
We opted for a fresh transfer cycle (doing retrieval and transfer in the same cycle) and used a combination of oral medication and injections. During follow-up, it seemed like only one o***y was responding and she was lucky to retrieve 7 eggs. However, due to the low number of eggs, we already decided to first transfer one Day 3 embryo and freeze the remaining embryos. And two weeks later, her HCG was positive!
Week by week, we watched her baby grow bigger and bigger, and now he is here in person! And is soooo cute!
Auntie Cindy is so happy to have more treats to celebrate this little man's first month!!
Recently there have been many patients going through the ups and downs of IVF, I just wanted to send out some encouragement to anyone who needs to hear it today!!
You got this.
You are going to get through this.
You will be able to find your way to build your family.
I am so proud of you and will be with you along this journey!
We have recently been working with Farhugs (an online mental health service), promoting mental health for our IVF patients. There will be a series of FREE online seminars regarding everything from infertility, abortion, stress from trying to conceive, and so much more. Please visit the link below or message me if you want to know more!!
I could not believe the turnout last night at our egg freezing seminar!
I was originally seated at the front, but when it was my turn to speak, I stood up, turned around and saw so many people! 🥹
Honestly I got really nervous (which most could hear through my shaking voice..) but was so happy we could help more people learn more about egg freezing.
During the one-on-one time, I talked with single women, married women, and even some with their parents (LOVE the support egg freezing is getting now!). ❤
I even learned that I have some fans overseas, so shout-out to all of you not in Taiwan but considering coming back for egg freezing or IVF. 🥰
Hope to see everyone again at the clinic or another seminar!!
When and how and even if you choose to start a family should be something you should have at least some control over. And egg freezing can do that for you.
Getting married and having kids at a later age is now the norm all over the world. But many women may find that it is much more difficult to get pregnant than in their 20s.
As we enter our late 30s and 40s, we may be killing it at work but our ovaries are already getting ready to retire! 😆
So take your reproductive autonomy into your own hands and consider egg freezing at an earlier age, to preserve them at a better quality while you are pursuing your career or traveling the world or making a difference. That way you know that if you do decide to have kids later in the future, you will still have that option.
Come hear about the real and unreal truths of egg freezing and what it is all about at our seminar on May 18!
More and more American women are choosing to freeze their eggs abroad. As we all know, costs for medical care in the US can be pretty much... and that is why some women from the US are choosing Taiwan for egg freezing. Unfortunately, not all US companies provide coverage for egg freezing and your eggs can't just wait around!
Come to Taiwan for egg freezing and enjoy the sights and food (!) while completing your process. Egg freezing does not need to feel like a burden, it can be a vacation too. With our English speaking staff, you can get the help and care you deserve without language barriers.
We had the pleasure of having Yvonne come to NUWA Fertility Center recently and finish her egg freezing journey. Please have a look and see what she has to say about her experience!
So proud to be working with such experienced, intelligent, meticulous, caring, and overall great group of people!
NUWA Lab has grown to include 19 embryologists over three locations. They have recently held a conference discussing the latest studies and reviewing protocols to improve lab performance, gathering together sharing experiences and knowledge.
Our embryologists also regularly reach out to patients and personally call to explain certain situations with fertilization or embryo culturing. If a patient encounters poor fertilization, they review details of patient history and give suggestions how to change and improve the next cycle's outcome.
Our embryologists never stop striving to be better. They are always updating their knowledge and researching the newest equipment, allowing each patient who enters NUWA Fertility Center to be one step closer to their dreams of creating a family.
It's that time of the year again to be with family and eat until you can’t eat anymore!
This year many patients went through the ups and downs of IVF but many also graduated from our clinic and getting ready to welcome their new baby bunnies 😊🐰
Can’t wait for the new year to come and start anew with new aspirations and hope for better things to come. Enjoy this little video I made for the new year and have a little giggle 🤭🤦🏻♀️
Nuwa Lab , in affiliation with National Taiwan University’s Institute of Biotechnology, has established Asia’s first embryologist training program. The embryology lab and most importantly the embryologists themselves play an integral role in any patient's egg freezing or IVF journey. And now there is a standardized and comprehensive training program to educate and train aspiring embryologists.
When I was an undergraduate studying biology, I thought my only choices for future careers were limited to research or else medical school. If I had known there was an opportunity to do something as interesting and meaningful as becoming an embryologist, I don't think I'd be a doctor today 😆 So proud of our Nuwa Lab embryologists!
So happy to announce another patient has safely and bravely delivered her baby boy!
Baby number two doesn't always come as easily as planned, and sometimes you'll need a little help. Luckily for Mrs.W, she still had some embryos cryopreserved from her previous IVF cycle. Though the journey to baby number two wasn't easy, (check out her story here [12/22Fb連結]), she didn't give up and with a little help from our embryology lab, we were able to find the best embryos for transfer.
Mrs.W was hoping for a mei-mei but when the sonogram showed it was most likely a di-di, your cries of joy(?) or surprise (?) could be heard outside in the hallway 😆
Getting your text message last week saying you had already given birth to a beautiful baby boy nearly made me cry😭😭😭 (I blame the pregnancy hormones!)! Water birth is no easy task but this mama did it! 💪💪💪
