Proud to offer the cutting edge minimally invasive surgical procedures, robotic surgery, for the patients with urological and colorectal cancer via the hands of "Surgeons of Excellence in Robotic Surgery":

Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital is a newly accredited SRC Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery. Established in 1957 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the multispecialty hospital also serves as a teaching center. In order to provide patients with high quality and safe care, the hospital uses state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. Minimally invasive procedures like robotic surgery are performed to improve patient outcomes.

You need look no further than a recent ceremony at which MOFA Minister Joseph Wu conferred the Friend of Foreign Service Medal on Kaohsiung Medical University’s Professor Aij-Lie Kwan, former president of the National Union of Chinese Medical Doctors' Association Jaung-Geng Lin, former superintendent of Taipei Medical University Hospital Ray-Jade Chen, chairman of Taidoc Technology Corp. Chao-Wang Chen, chair of the Latin American Business Council Grace Wang, MacKay Memorial Hospital and Cathay General Hospital, for their outstanding contributions to international medical cooperation and medical diplomacy.

In his address at the ceremony, Minister Wu spoke of how Taiwan’s medical standards, have won global recognition and play an important role in soft power diplomacy.
