🌍 Singapore Medical Reflections｜A Response from the Universe ✨
During this visit to Singapore, I was deeply impressed by how much the government has invested in its public healthcare system.
Everywhere I went—the architecture, patient flow, hospital–university integration—everything reflected consistency, precision, and pride.
Even a small hospital brochure carried a clear sense of national confidence.
As part of our hospital’s International Medical Center, I know that our core mission is still being evaluated by one key metric:
how many patients we can successfully bring to Taiwan for treatment.
But after seeing Singapore’s meticulous nursing care, highly automated pharmacy systems, efficient logistics,
and people’s outstanding language ability and communication training,
I couldn’t help but ask myself:
Where does our true competitiveness lie?
To be honest, I felt uneasy.
After visiting Singapore multiple times since 2023, I still struggled to find the right entry point.
With the kind assistance of Ambassador Tung Chen-Yuan and Director Yang from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore,
I began reflecting more deeply—
perhaps what we can offer is not “a cheaper price,”
but something that Singapore does not yet have — the 神波刀 (MRI-guided Focused Ultrasound).
Then, the universe responded.
Late one night, I received a call from Kuala Lumpur:
a Dato I had met at a business event passed my card to someone urgently seeking 神波刀 treatment.
Coincidentally, that person was flying to Singapore the next day.
After a full day of hospital visits, I rushed back to the hotel to meet the couple—
they had waited two hours for me.
When I introduced our clinical experiences with MRI-guided Focused Ultrasound,
his eyes immediately lit up.
In that moment, I felt it—
✨ the universe was working through us.
The seeds we plant in faith may grow silently,
but when the time is right, they bloom in the most unexpected ways.
The patient decided to come to Taiwan for treatment in two weeks.
My heart was filled with gratitude—
for my team, for the universe, and for this path I’ve been called to walk.
Sometimes the answer isn’t found by searching harder,
but by trusting that the right people and opportunities will appear when you’re aligned with your purpose.

“Thank you — I heard you, and I received it.”
