Join renowned physician, award-winning poet, artist, and songwriter Dr. Ko-Hua Chen for a reflective and deeply personal session exploring creativity, solitude, identity, and lived experience. Widely recognized as one of Taiwan’s earliest openly gay poets, Dr. Chen has helped shape conversations around identity, emotion, and artistic expression through more than sixty published works. Discover how poetry can become a pathway to understanding ourselves and connecting with others 💬

Held inside the Through My Eyes「我的視界」gallery, this session is part of a series of expert-led, bilingual workshops accompanying a powerful, free exhibition of 50 anonymous stories and artworks from across Taiwan, reminding us that what we carry silently is often deeply shared. Join us in normalizing the courage it takes to care for the mind.

Through My Eyes「我的視界」is an immersive gallery experience that brings hidden emotional struggles into the open and helps normalize conversations around mental health. Featuring 50 anonymous stories and artworks from across Taiwan, this free exhibition invites empathy, reflection, and connection. Alongside the gallery, enjoy free workshops led by licensed counseling psychologists, Center wellbeing coaches, and other experts in English and Mandarin Chinese. Mental health is health, and no one should carry it alone. 💛

Happy Year of the Horse! 🐎 Our February Coffee Morning was filled with creativity and joyful Lunar New Year energy at the Center 🧧✨ Guests participated in hands-on calligraphy and paper cutting, creating festive pieces to hang and display at home for the holiday. We were also delighted to welcome Chef Ivy Chen, who guided us in making tangyuan 湯圓 while sharing the meaningful symbolism behind the dish and the Lunar New Year traditions. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone gathering, learning, and celebrating together 🐎❤️ As always, thank you to Agile Relocations for sponsoring our Coffee Mornings.

Cheers to another festive and flavorful morning! 🧧✨ Our Dihua Street Lunar New Year Market Tour was a feast for the senses. Led by Chef Ivy, we wandered through the historic streets as they came alive with the holiday energy of colorful decorations, fragrant dried goods, and endless New Year treats. Along the way, we learned the traditions behind Lunar New Year foods and why certain ingredients are believed to bring health, wealth, and good fortune in the year ahead. Of course, no visit would be complete without sampling some goodies and picking up festive snacks, decorations, and souvenirs! 🥮🧨
