Today, the 19th day of the 6th lunar month 🌙, we’re not just celebrating Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day—we’re living it with joy!

Gathered for a little outing 👣, we lit lanterns to honor the boundless compassion of this revered Bodhisattva ✨—the ancient Zheng Fa Ming Tathagata, who returns again and again to respond to every cry, manifesting countless forms to guide all beings.

Rain or shine 🌤️ (okay, the weather was a bit glum), our hearts were full! We shared snacks 🧁, laughed, and let the spirit of "great love that answers suffering" sink in. As Grandmaster Wu Chueh Miao-Tien said: "Be like Avalokitesvara—free, kind, and ready to ease the world’s pain." 💬

May this day spark compassion in every heart, and may our small joys ripple into big kindness. 🙏
