🌿 第51屆台灣皮膚科醫學會，圓滿落幕！
很榮幸能與高醫藍教授共同擔任這次的座長，也特別感謝遠道而來的國際白斑專家好友們共襄盛舉—包括美國的 Prof. Itefat Hamzavi、埃及的 Prof. Marwa Abdallah，以及韓國的 Prof. Jung Min Bae。
在這場白斑專題講座中，我們從不同的文化與臨床角度，探討了：
- 白斑症對心理層面的影響與全人治療的重要性
- 藥物誘發性白斑的臨床挑戰與處理策略
我也分享了團隊針對兩年前FDA核可的外用JAK抑制劑，在本土近百位不同類型白斑患者的實際治療經驗—包括使用成效、安全性，以及未來JAK口服製劑與新型生物製劑的發展方向。
同時，我們的年輕住院醫師們也十分亮眼✨
- 欣妤醫師 分享了十年來、超過900位患者的長期追蹤資料，分析不同治療策略（口服藥物、光照、外用藥膏、綜合治療）對白斑穩定的長期影響。
- 聖妮醫師 則報告了白斑患者在進行美容醫學與雷射治療時的安全性研究，為臨床醫師提供實用參考。
除了充實的學術交流，我也帶著遠道而來的貴賓們走訪台北之美—從故宮博物院、迪化街品茗🍵，到圓山飯店與自由廣場，讓他們體驗台灣豐厚的歷史與人文底蘊。
感謝隨行協助的 柏謙總醫師 與 欣妤醫師，讓這趟醫學與文化之旅都留下了珍貴的回憶。💙
It was my great honor to co-chair this year’s pigment session together with Prof. Cheng-Che Lan from Kaohsiung Medical University. I was also deeply grateful to have my international vitiligo expert friends joining us — Prof. Itefat Hamzavi from the U.S., Prof. Marwa Abdallah from Egypt, and Prof. Jung Min Bae from Korea — who all came to share their insights and support our session.
Together, we exchanged perspectives on vitiligo management, including:
- The psychometric impact of vitiligo and the importance of holistic patient care
- Drug-induced vitiligo and its diagnostic and therapeutic challenges
I also shared our real-world experience with nearly one hundred local patients using the newly FDA-approved topical JAK inhibitor, discussing its efficacy, safety, and the emerging trend of oral JAK inhibitors and novel biologics for vitiligo.
Our young team residents also gave outstanding presentations:
- Dr. Hsin-Yu Shih presented our 10-year follow-up study of over 900 vitiligo patients, comparing different treatment strategies (systemic therapy, phototherapy, topical agents, and combination approaches) and their long-term outcomes.
- Dr. Sheng-Ni Chen shared our research on the safety of aesthetic and laser procedures in patients with vitiligo.
Beyond the scientific sessions, I also had the pleasure of showing our international guests the cultural beauty of Taipei — from the National Palace Museum and tea tasting in Dihua Street, to the Grand Hotel and Liberty Square — offering them a glimpse into Taiwan’s rich heritage and warm hospitality.
