With hearts heavy with grief, APAGE mourns the passing of Mrs. Sybill Storz. We have lost not only a titan of industry but a visionary matriarch whose influence on minimally invasive surgery is etched into history.

In the early days of gynecologic endoscopy, when the path forward was uncertain, Mrs. Storz saw the future clearly. Through her steadfast leadership, she championed education and innovation when it mattered most.

APAGE stands today as a testament to her generosity. Her support was the bedrock upon which we built our mission—supporting us with equipment, empowering a generation of young surgeons, and helping us elevate standards of care across Asia. We remain forever grateful for her invaluable contributions.
Beyond her professional accolades, Mrs. Storz was a woman of immense warmth and compassion. We could always see her at major events all over the world. Her greetings were always heartfelt, and her devotion to APAGE was limitless.

She understood that behind every instrument was a patient, and behind every procedure was a hope for a better life. Her dedication to women’s health has saved and improved lives beyond measure.

We believe her legacy will live on through her family and the devoted team at Karl Storz as they carry her mission forward.
On behalf of APAGE, we extend our most heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Storz family. May God wipe away every tear from her family members and good friends, and may her soul find eternal rest in His divine presence.

The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE)

The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy represents over 15 associations in the gynecologic field worldwide. APAGE provides various scientific and educational activities for doctors; for example, workshops for Laparoscopic Gynecologic Oncology Surgery & Hands-on Animal Workshop, Single Incision Surgery and Robotic Surgery. The APAGE Annual Congress is also the largest gynecologic meeting in the Asia-Pacific region. It also holds congresses in conjunction with its affiliated societies, which are becoming increasingly popular within this region. From 2012, we will publish its official journal, Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy, for offering doctors in this region an option to share their latest academic research achievements.

本會名稱為亞太婦產科內視鏡暨微創治療醫學會，簡稱APAGE。
