Dispel stress to reduce stomach pain
You may feel an unpleasant sensation in your stomach when you are stressed. This is because feelings of anxiety can disrupt the fragile equilibrium of the digestive process. For some people, it slows digestion, causing abdominal stiffness, pain and constipation. While for others, stress will make digestion go faster, causing diarrhea and going out more often. Some people even lose their appetite.
Stress can also cause digestive diseases, such as peptic ulcers (in the inner membrane of the stomach or small intestine) and symptoms of intestinal discomfort.
Quit smoking.
