Art by Olivia Wu

Olivia is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of consciousness, nature, and spiritual transformation. Through her work, she invites viewers to engage with art as a portal to self-discovery, using light, abstraction, and symbolism to evoke inner reflection. Inspired by the philosophy of the light within each individual, Olivia’s art delves into the unseen forces that shape human experience, blending ancient wisdom with modern sensibilities. By integrating themes of illumination and transcendence, Olivia’s work portrays art as a catalyst for personal and collective awakening. Healings offered include ancient I Ching consultation, knife massage, light energy healing, chakra balancing, and healing art workshops. Light Program Red House was a healing center founded in 2017. When it comes to the number 9, it’s always the end and beginning, a period of transition and change.

I used to be afraid of change, and that’s because I didn’t understand or surrender to the Universal Basic Law that the only constant is change. Change is the Chi, it is how everything breathes, moves and lives. Change is the I Ching. It doesn’t matter which stage you’re on, you know there is no end nor beginning because just like Chi, it has always existed.

When I went to school, I went to the University of Knowledge.
When I practice spiritual discipline, I went to the University of the Universe.
When I travel and study, I go to the University of the World.

Light is an element that can only be revealed in the 5th dimension. The x, y, z creates the 3 dimensions. Time is the fourth, then light is possible for revelation. The pyramid prism structure has 5 points and that was how the light becomes visible.

Exploration of multidimensional understanding will come as we wiggle our way to that truth you seek. Because the heart is the compass, the mind has the map, and the body is the vessel. You just need the right time, and an encounter with the light.

Do not chase light, for light has always been there, from the birth of the Universe, it has seeked Freedom from the gravitational pull of darkness. Light attracts, it sticks to itself like a magnet. The only way you become light is to step out of darkness. The only way you attract more light is to become it.

Change is inevitable, a constant as old as time. And in change, transformation is possible.

A visit to the Cumberland Art Gallery at Hampton Cour Palace. An unplanned encounter with Claude, Rembrandt, and Gainsborough’s work.

Claude created amazing landscapes of ports, sky, light and activities(in detail). The sunset captures the focal point and sets the tone.

Rembrandt’s treatment of accentuating light through shadow and darkness is daring and powerful.

This Gainsborough’s piece caught my attention because of the artistic approach of blurry images.

A museum that lives, breaths and interacts. The openness of the museum is deeply inspirational. The artifact inspired studies intertwined together by messengers to bring the ancient cultures back to life.

Seeing collection pieces up close circles you in as a part of the preservation effort.

The museum is like a database, consist of histories and stories. A 900 year old piece could be next to a 90 year old piece, as if connecting a string of time, tuning in.

Artificial intelligence has also been used to help with the efforts of preservation and identification. New technologies are being introduced.

The world is beautiful not because of one lineage of heritage but because of the many. The curation embraces cultural, heritage, social and neuro diversity.

Looking at the artwork of masters, I often wonder what they saw, then I try to imagine it in my mind. Every so often, I am a witness of these scenes, in presence of what they painted and I can see why they felt inspired to paint. The parallels of awe but in a different moment in time.

At the statue site of Antoine de Saint-Exupery and The Little Prince in Lyon. There carves a phrase « J’aurai l’air d’être mort et ce ne sera pas vrai. » Which translates to "I'll look like I'm dead and it won't be true."

The Little Prince(English and French versions) were first published in 1943 in the United States. Antoine de Saint-Exupery was lost during a mission in 1944. Le Petit Prince(French) was released in France in 1946. The creator, like The Little Prince, also never really saw the impact of his existence. Perhaps that is the point, one only really lives when taking leaps, moving forward and not looking back.

Each element has its own personality, and water is such an amazing canvas. Mindful Marbling introduces the element of change through the movement of wind and water. Much like life, it is the single intentions at every moment as well as the letting go that creates an imprint of time.

Paid a visit to Stonehenge on a great day. The surrounding is really calm and sounds felt muted as if we are in a bubble. Imaging standing here for more than 5000 years, and the changes the stones have witnessed.

Mental blocks are real.
Sometimes they show up as resistance, other times as avoidance.
Like a heavy fog in your head, or a wall you can’t quite explain —
they make it feel like you can’t perform, like something just won’t click.

And often, it’s not the starting that’s hard.
It’s that final touch — the last step that would complete the work —
where the block tightens its grip.

It’s not always about a lack of effort or clarity, or so it would have me believe.
Sometimes, it’s simply the weight of the invisible —
the tension that asks for space, for connection, a fresh breath, and trust
before movement can return.

Spiritual path is an artist path. And vice versa, an artist path is a spiritual path. Regardless of the career identity we identify with, every person is on a spiritual path whether you know it or not. We are the artist to the canvas that is our life. And until we leave the world, we are still a work in progress.
